I've been going to the Yuan Wellness Center since early last year. Every time I've had any problems with my back, they've been able to fix me up really well within one to two treatments. I recommended this place to my mom too, and she went and got some pain fixed that she'd been suffering with for so long. Everyone in the office is so kind - they treat you like family and they have yummy snacks and drinks in the lobby :)
I e been coming to the fremont office for 8 yrs and is the only medical office in the US I can recommend to friends and family because they always help me relieve serious pain after a few treatments with a combination of acupuncture, anti-inflammatory patch, machines, deep tissue massages and adjustments. Always holistic treatments that get to the bottom of the problem and not trying to treat symptoms. Only issue is prices are always rising. Just rose $50 to $200 per treatment months ago and now will be rising again to $250. But totally worth the price when you have pain.
Long overdue review, but better late than never. Dr Si and his office is the absolute best! I want to help get the word out that this is the place to get your aching body fixed! Professionalism: Dr. Si and his staff are professional trained and fully accredited to practice bone adjustments, physical therapy, muscle injuries, etc. He uses different techniques for the appropriate application Tui Na (medical massage), acupuncture, acupressure, etc... The offices was always clean pre CoVid, and now even more clean. My History: I had an impacted L4, L5 which also resulted in sciatica. In a few words, it totally flipped my life and those around me upside down. I was miserable. Back problems are no joke. Dr. Si was very honest and upfront w me. He mentioned it may take a few visits and then some maintenance visits to help correct my pain. I did not take issue with this as I was dealing with this pain for some time. And I've already tried a few other doctors w some lasting for patterned appointments for mos. None really helped much at all. Some are actually big time crooks. My Recovery: After a few therapy visits w Dr Si, I end up feeling much more better. It was a gradual progression I can feel and notice. I began standing straight, then hiking pain free. Later on, I was up traveling all over, again. Long road trips, flying, and riding my bike for miles. :) Nowadays: I mainly go in now for the massage / maintenance. Occasionally, I still pull muscles because I *think* I'm still young. I'll do mad activities like run up and down the courts w teenagers. :) For the occasional muscle injuries - One thing about me I really don't like pointy objects. Myself being Asian, I have done acupuncture w more than a few different doctors internationally. Eh - I tolerate it. Yet for some reason or another, when Dr. Si performs acupuncture it is way less intrusive and more comfortable. It doesn't bother me! Advice - Please do try it! I really advise that if you have any muscle or back pains that you give Dr Si and his staff a try. Even I was a little skeptical since I've already tried a few doctors. But a friend was like what's one more try. Eh... Dr Si has really helped me and I think they can help you. They are flexible w scheduling you in and offers two locations: Fremont and Cupertino. Please connect with his staff and him. They are very patient and most importantly professionally trained. Last note: We are still in a pandemic. The office has always and still very clean. They take the necessary precautions like: mandatory temp checks, face masks requirements, and hand sanitizing upon entry. Also, if acupuncture is prescribed Dr Si always uses a clean set that is wrapped up.
