Fremont Optometric Vision Care

Found this optical center through my EyeMed insurance and scheduled my first visit for an eye exam. I was seen by Dr. Eddy Haw. He was great. It was a normal eye exam. Nothing different than my previous eye exams at other optical centers. The reason for the very low rating is due to the charges. After my eye exam, I decided to use my optical insurance coverage towards the eyeglasses. When I told the front desk staff member that I wanted to go with the basic plastic lenses that are covered with copay, she told me that I couldn't and had to choose the polycarbonate option. Amita was above and beyond warm, helpful and resourceful when I needed my glasses repaired. She was knowledgeable and knew her inventory and was able to set me up with contacts and adjust my glasses. She has helped me over the years at the Fremont and San Leandro offices which i highly recommend both for the most stylish and name brand glasses that are budget friendly and some you just have to have! my Tomford and Guccis are my favorite. I was looking for the Marina frames/glasses from Ziena so I called in for an appointment. I wanted to know if the frames were a good fit for me. I was very happy to meet Gail. She was awesome.
