Got here on sat morning at 8:30am for my lab appt, east parking right outside the building with cover. They have 2 line set up by the lab, one with appt and the other walk in. The person help check in and within 5 mins I got my lab done and walk out by 8:45am. The lab tech was very friendly get my ID check according to procedure. I didn't even fill anything since she was trying to talk to me causally. Thank you great service.
I am receiving care from PAMF Fremont for more than 20 Years. This year my pulmonary doctor left PAMF, my primary care and endocrinologist are also leaving the Fremont facility. All my doctors that whom I have established with are leaving. What is happening? I felt like I have been medically abandoned. 3 doctors in a row all during a period of 8 months, really?!
This review is specific to Palo Alto Medical in Fremont, CA Covid testing department. I was sent there today by my physician to get tested for Covid. I appreciate that my physician was able to get me in the same day appointment to get tested again (within 30 mins). The med asst walked me to the test area and told me to wait, but neglected to inform me that it's drive-thru only. At this time, no one was there. I had my husband pull up and park while we waited in the car for some one to show up. 10:30am comes, staff comes out. We politely asked if we should park and wait for someone to call us, she rudely in a very sarcastic and irritated tone replied "No, you don't park there, you need to drive through here, read the sign!" And started shaking her head! No other patient but us. And there were cones blocking the lane because apparently they were on their beak! Maybe put up a sign "ON BREAK." There was no reason for her to raise her voice, be rude, and shake her head - specially when were were literally the only patient there. Also, if she's on her break, dont' loiter outside to eat lunch. She's a tall African-American woman with long braids. I know her name, but would not blast it on here. She was also giving us dirty looks as the med tech was conducting the test. Note to PAMF management: Please train your staff to be kinder and treat patients with respect. If they are having a bad day, tough luck! Suck it up. You are not getting paid to take your issues out on innocent people.
