I had kind of a weird situation I needed help with. I have just barely been coming out of major depressive episode that has lasted around a year, meaning I severely neglected my hair for just as long as it had gotten so matted I couldn't do anything with it myself.:.. it was like one big dreadlock. Johnny was very kind and accommodating. He offered up an appointment time that worked with my schedule and would give us enough time to see if he could untangle it or do the cut if needed. It was too far gone to be saved completely, so Johnny did what he could to cut off the mat while keeping as much length as possible. He provided a comfortable and safe space for me to communicate with him in. It's very shor nowt, but manageable and most importantly healthy. I'm very grateful to him for the experience when I was in such a vulnerable position.
This was my first professional eyebrow session done by Pooja, and being a male with thick bushy eyebrows she really understood how to make the brows exactly how I wanted and needed them to look! I was very surprised for my first experience with Bawa Beauty as not only the atmosphere was clean and well put together, but also the process was done in the exact time frame stated on her page and came out looking amazing! Great professional haircut ! Take all payment types and they even have WiFi. Tesla superchargers in the parking - so u can charge while getting a haircut. Make sure u go into the right salon. There’s another salon next door. She understood hair and how cowlicks work - one of the very few who mentioned this. Everything was professional - even got an eye guard to stop hair. Highly recommend!
I got my nails done by Nikki today and she did a great job! She took her time to shape my nails and gave me exactly what I wanted. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because my appt was at 2pm but she didn't start actually working on my nails until like 3pm because they were so busy. However, the wait was still worth it. My advice would be to come on a day that you don't mind waiting because it could take a while.

I struggled to find a hairstylist for quite a while and, thankfully, my sister-in-law introduced me to Diem. She has done it all, from purple/magenta hair to working her magic with my cowlicks! She is amazing!

It had been a long time since I last had a haircut and my hair was looking shapeless and dull. My son gets his haircut by Rio. He always does a good job and my son really likes him. They always have tvs playing which is a good distraction for a wiggly kid getting his haircut. As soon as I walk in, the atmosphere is lively with smiles, happy conversation, and good music. The place is always immaculately clean. My stylist at Nail Garden is Tina, and she truly deserves a special mention. Along with her coworkers, Tina works exceptionally hard to ensure that I receive top-notch service and leave happy. I'm so impressed with Tina that I actually travel all the way from San Francisco to Fremont just to have her as my stylist. Her birthday is on October 10, and I really hope that I can be in town to make something special for her on her special day because she's absolutely worth it .
It’s cute inside, the drinks are fire, and the vibes are always great. I love going to Studio 704. Saba is the coolest person I have ever met. She also happens to be the best nail tech I’ve had in my life, and trust me, I always have my nails done. I’ve tried acrylics, shellac, dip powder—just about everything. Years of switching between products left me with thin, fragile nails that peel. However, nothing has strengthened my nails more than Saba’s playful insistence on regularly oiling my cuticles, paired with the support of structured gel. Everywhere I go, people ask where I got my nails done, and it’s my favorite referral to give!

So happy I found this place! Norma and Ann are fantastic! They take their time with you and do a great job. They have a large selection of nail colors to choose from. A big perk is that each nail color has a matching gel polish. They are friendly and offer suggestions of nail colors (because I'm indecisive). The place is clean and the prices are competitive. This is my go to spot in Fremont!
I have been going to Nail glamour for 12+ years now. Kim and staff are very friendly and welcoming and make me feel very comfortable when I’m there. I always get dip manicure as well as pedicures for me and family. Kim is always receptive to trying out new designs for me and always gives me feedback on color and designs. If you need customer service and a friendly atmosphere, try this place out.
I love this place. I've been coming here for years. It's very small, I'm usually the only one when I go for a service and it is so incredibly peaceful and relaxing. No feeling like you're in an assembly line, no rush, no pressure to add services (no upselling). Prices are clear, and very reasonable (especially for the quality of the service and the uncrowded, quiet environment, compared to other nail salons). Crystal is wonderful--skilled, attentive, engaging and she always does a great job. I've been to many different salons over the years. This is my favorite, by far.
I recently became an Irvington resident and needed to quickly find a nail salon because my nails were in bad shape. I found this place, and although there were few people there at first glance, it was quaint and much nicer than being in a crowded larger salon. I chose an earthy green dip manicure and a gel pedicure, and while it's usually hard to match dip and gel colors, they looked similar enough. I opted for a basic pedicure, but it felt very luxurious. They even asked if I wanted another layer of color, which I thought was very sweet. The prices were standard for the Southern East Bay Area. I think I've found my new nail spot.

She is one of the few remaining nail technicians/artists who is not only an expert at her craft, but also takes the time to make sure your nails are perfect. I have gone to 100s of different salons in the bay and am so glad I found Sam bc I will never go anywhere else!! Also, she carries high quality nail polishes which I never see anyone else invest in. This is particularly important to me because I'm able to stretch out my manicures a lot longer than I ever have. Go to Sam. You will thank me later!!

I've lived in Fremont for 4 years now and have been going to Diana for almost 2 years. I wish I had started going to her sooner! She is amazing! I go nowhere else. She does my roots, highlights and cuts. The way she cuts my hair and explains how or why she is cutting it a certain way really helps. It grows out exactly how she says it will and the cuts last a long time. I don't trust anyone else now. Her pricing is very reasonable and she is amazing!

I’ve never gotten a facial before in my life and I was really nervous going in because of my very dry, sensitive skin. Esthi Linda was so patient and attentive and listened to all of my skin concerns before custom creating a facial for me. The process was so peaceful and my skin felt bouncy and soft afterwards, and I’ve gotten so many compliments. I really appreciated Esthi Linda going above and beyond and giving me tips for my skin type. I’ve had one appointment so far but will for sure book another one!

I have been receiving the services over seven years. Mila is great! She personalizes treatments based on your skin conditions. She never imposes to buy products she sells but I have bought some products from her because I had asked her suggestions, and they all work wonderfully (and not so expensive). My favorite products are oxygen spray, moisturizer with gold particles, bee Vernon facial soap and sunscreen.

I was looking for an esthetician who actually knew what they were doing and who could give me any recommendations specifically for my skin. And I'm so glad I found Jasmine and LYS! I've been seeing Jasmine for a few months now, and every session with her is always such a treat. I appreciate her knowledge and attention to detail (she can tell when I've been slacking on my regimen or scratching/picking ). I also appreciate that she makes suggestions and recommendations, but never pushes me to buy products or schedule more frequently. Her goal is to help you establish a great baseline and help support you through maintenance, both in the clinic and at home. Jasmine puts a lot of love into what she does and it's clear that her clients and their individual needs are her priority. I always leave my appointments feeling extra cared for. Ever since I started going to LYS for my facials, I've gotten comments from friends and family, complimenting my skin and asking what foundations or makeup style I use. The answer is none!! I very rarely wear makeup, and even when I do, I don't use any base makeup (nor do I need it). So that is absolutely the highest compliment ever.

Did a mom and daughter tattoo, my first, about a year ago that my daughter treated us to. The numbing cream I got wasn't strong enough but I endured and he's very patient. It came out the way we wanted. Colors and all. If you explain clearly how and what Colors, he works hard to succeed. Love my first one ever. I'm not even a tattoo person. Ha. Maybe, I may do another with better numbing cream. ☺️. I love hummingbirds and hibiscus, Great job.

Life savers! After calling several plumbing companies to fix a gas leak, finally found this one that had the proper equipment to detect and fix the leak. Explained the urgency to have our gas back, they had a Forman call me and schedule something ASAP. The foreman Gustavo was professional, prompt and understanding of our situation. He and his crew did a great job on the fixtures/repairs. They provided a quote and everything was done by a licensed contractor, PG&E certified contractor and with county permits. The job was done and our leak fixed. I would highly recommend Pacific Plumbing for anything you might need, hope it's never a gas leak.The prompt response of the staff as a whole is amazing, we truly appreciate everything. Responsive, prompt, professional, fair priced, and understanding = 5 STARS in all aspects and overall to the company and Gustavo and his team. GREAT JOB!

I've been using Bay Area Restoration for carpet and rug cleaning in our home for over 3 years now and I highly recommend them. Alex and his team are very courteous, professional and always on-time. Quotes are clear and pricing is consistent. They will always take time to do any spot cleaning (oil stains or pet stains) if you point it out to them. They also use a pet friendly cleaner so my dog doesn't need to be contained while it dries. We had a cleaning during the pandemic and the service is just as consistent/expected.

I have been using the maids for a long time regularly, and they do a fantastic job cleaning my apartment! I have Team Red and they are the best team ever. I was looking for a specific brand LVP just no store carries it, not in Home Depot not Lowes, but GEW not just carries it, and Mr. Wu the owner gave me very reasonable price. Their installation team is also superior, I say they are doing flooring like doing an art work. I strongly suggest anyone looking for floor installation GEW in your choice.
The Rodrigues Tile crew did a fantastic job converting our tub-only bathroom into a tub/shower combo with tiled walls. They were quicker than we expected and did the highest quality work.
Helei and team are awesome. Helei remodeled my master bathroom. She has very good team, each one expert in their own area. Although she owns a store but never pushed to get things from her store only. She also had a great eye for interior designing and is very pleasant to work with. She takes time to understand what you need and then gives you the best suggestions and ideas. I would highly recommend her.
Just finished our full kitchen remodel with Construction & More and we are very happy with the results. After unsatisfactory interviews with a couple contractors and Home Depot, it was a pleasure to have a positive initial meeting with Avi at their office. Having an office in Fremont was also big plus to me, because traffic is such an issue these days.
The paperwork was all very clear and easy to understand. Alex was very patient as we made numerous changes to the design to squeeze as much as we could into our fairly small kitchen. Once the design was settled, things started moving very quickly and there was significant progress each day. Their team helped to set up a temporary kitchen in the adjacent room, which made things much more livable for us during the project. Communication through a WhatsApp group worked very well – Avi and the team were always quick to respond to any questions or requests. We had some additional work in the garage, and we added a few items during the project. The price for these additions were quite reasonable. Avi managed the permits with the City very well and there we no issues. We are very pleased with speed their quality of work/attention to detail and we’re very happy with our new kitchen.
Overall, a professional team to work with, great communication, reasonable prices, and they truly spend the time to be sure you are pleased with the result. We will be talking to them when we remodel our bathroom.

We called Frank last year for our annual ant problem after losing our previous pest control company to a merger. He came out the next day, sprayed our house perimeter and we didn't see another ant indoors for the rest of the year. They are attracted to our cats' food. Called him again this year. He answers the phone himself and came out the same afternoon to do apply the spray. I pay him by Zelle and everyone is happy!

I have been using Pestmed services since early 2022 for ants in my home and have been very happy with the results. We had pretty bad ant problem in June 2022 after moving into a new home. I had tried various off the shelf sprays and bait traps but no luck. Learnt about Pestmed through google search and after going through their customer reviews and took the chance.
Results were excellent, we literally went from not being able to keep food/fruits on island even for an hour due to ants to being able to food/fruits kept in open for days without worrying.
To be safe, we do use their service every 6 months as we also have small patio with garden as well our home is adjoining other homes thus eventually after a period of 6-7 months we do start seeing ants slowly trying to creep in.
Overall staff is very responsive and clearly communicates on the day of pest control via text so you can plan accordingly and are not left hanging.
Even though I may have used their service 5-6 times, we only had issue once post service and Pestmed was quick to schedule and do a complimentary pest control in the infected area within 30 days of service.
I recommend this company for fast, friendly, professional service for an eco-friendly termite treatment at a reasonable price.
I noticed drywood termite infestations in two areas of my home. I have two hospice patients as well as pet birds, dogs, and cats, so tenting was going to be logistically impossible for us.
I called Pacific Coast Termite Inc. They scheduled one of their technicians to stop by in a few days. Rob was very thorough with his inspection. Pedro and Saul stopped by for treatment the following week (total time from calling to treatment was less than two weeks).
The office staff and field technicians were all very friendly, courteous, and professional. The technicians were prepared with boot covers (we are a shoe-free home).
I did not need to relocate my hospice patients or animals. I feel reassured that the materials are non-toxic to humans and pets. I am OK if the treatment is not 100% effective and having them come out to reapply if needed (there is a 2-year warranty).
The price was very reasonable. I will provide an update in a couple of years with how effective the treatment was.

This is an addendum to my previous review. The night after the trees were trimmed, one of the trees that had lights in it did not light up. Also, several of the lights had been dislodged and were hanging down from the branches. I notified Mike, and he was sympathetic and responsive. The day after I notified him, he sent a handyman to fix the lights and reposition them in the tree. In this time when companies sometimes “hit and run”, Mike was there for me. Accidents happen. He was responsible and fixed the problem promptly. This is the kind of company you want to deal with.

They were very thorough on explaining things both diagnosis and healthcare related questions. Fast forward, they are now our dentist including our eldest son 14yo and even our youngest which is 8yo. I recommend Dr. Donesa and we are definitely going back!

I recently had an infected tooth that needed to be pulled. Upon walking into Dr. Sharma's practice, I was warmly greeted by the front staff. Dr. Sharma is personable and very patient. She shows care and compassion and most of all, an understanding of fear of Dentistry. She immediately put me at ease and did everything possible to make me comfortable. She was able to pull my bad tooth without any pain whatsoever!!!! Dr. Sharma is very detailed and explained every step to me as she was doing it. She also explained very clearly what my options were. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Dr Bates is the best, he's kind, patient and treats you like family. He's very serious about getting you back to optimal health. He gets very very busy but always manages somehow to get us in. Donna is the best, that's his wife, they are a good team. His daughter Pammy is a massage therapidt in his office so double treat. I would recommend everyone to them. Except I would like to be able to get in to see my doctor. Lol! I hurt my back just by reaching up and getting something from the cabinet as I stood there unable to straighten up I said to myself what just happened? ? I immediately called Dr Bates's office they got me in and after the adjustment I was able to walk a little straighter. It was still a process but after 3 treatments I was fine NO medication. He gave me strengthening exercises to do it was amazing! So now instead of going to ER I call Dr bates's office!
I love his honesty, because if he feels it is something that he cannot treat he will definitely tell you I need to have an x-ray and send you to see your PCP. He's not claiming to be a miracle worker but he knows what he's doing. My family and I have been going to Dr Bates for at least 12 years. My son lives in San Diego and every time he comes here he wants to get an adjustment by Dr Bates stating "I haven't found anybody in San Diego like Dr Bates."

I've had 2 pinched nerves and pain in my knees over the years. Each time Dr. Fisher has diagnosed the root cause for each and was able to correct the problem with "adjustments" to my spine. It is amazing how I can be pain free and able to hike, bike, ski and travel the world thanks to Dr. Fisher! If you have any pain in your body, I highly recommend a visit to Dr. Fisher before doing anything invasive or taking meds.

Want to Say a Huge Thank You to the Entire Warm Springs team especially Dr.Mark Doty and Dr.Natalie Sun. They always go above and beyond to make sure your pet is comfortable and well taken care of, as we all know it can be a very scary place for them. I Bring my Cane Corso Diesel in for Yearly check up and or anything else needed. Super grateful for these individuals, rare case for us in figuring out what was wrong with my dog because all the tests done came back as a “healthy” dog but we knew he was sick with what we saw. He had swollen limbs and had lost tons of weight. I went to a different ER vet (who's name i will not mention) to get a second option and potentially do some deeper research but it was going to break the bank, i then had a choice to make to let my pup down and let him rest or do something about it. Dr. Sun then reached out and came up with a game plan. Fantastic in every respect! The doctor that saw my dog Teddy was gentle and soft spoken. Teddy was due for 2 vaccinations and one of them was administered as a nasal inhalant and the other one was an injection. Teddy never even noticed the injection which I was a little worried about. I love the online classes. They are live and interactive. I still have the sense of community as I get to see my class mates and catch up. It is great that I still get verbal corrections when I am doing the poses correctly. This helps me to stay safe and it saves me traveling time and cost of gas and I lessen the wear and tear on my car.
If I could give more stars I would:). I first attended a class at this studio in 2012 to help stretch out more hamstrings from years of running. As a physical and occupational therapist I was extremely impressed with the in-depth knowledge and awareness, Linea (studio owner) had of the body's anatomy . She was able to modify poses for individuals presenting with various muscle skeletal ailments with ease. She is extremely friendly, and welcoming and you quickly feel a part of the "yoga family." I must also give a shout out to Lynn, another excellent and highly knowledgable yoga instructor. She is attentive and makes sure you are doing your poses correctly. The studio also offers other yoga classes, a HITT class, Reformer classes ( with Linea), personal training sessions, as well as massage and Acupuncture (Lynn's also an acupuncturist!) services should you need them.

I entered John's practice with debilitating back pain and walked out 90 minutes later without any pain at all. My range of motion improved significantly, and I could perform movements, like bending from my hips, that had seemed impossible before. John has an excellent understanding of anatomy and focuses on identifying and relaxing the larger muscle groups first, which made a huge difference. He is an exceptional bodywork practitioner, and I can't recommend him enough! i have been using jhon's practice from several years now.
I've been going to the Yuan Wellness Center since early last year. Every time I've had any problems with my back, they've been able to fix me up really well within one to two treatments. I recommended this place to my mom too, and she went and got some pain fixed that she'd been suffering with for so long. Everyone in the office is so kind - they treat you like family and they have yummy snacks and drinks in the lobby :)

This is my second time coming to get a massage here at Mood Up. It has been the most peaceful experience every time! I found this place back in April on Groupon. I wanted to treat me and my husband to a couples massage. It was so relaxing that when it came time for me to get another massage i did not hesitate on calling for an appointment. Angel provided me with the most heavenly massage. I drove from San Jose and will be doing so again next time. Everyone you come into contact with here are so kind. Imotion is extremely professional and has excellent therapist. There was a misunderstanding from my referring doctor regarding the evaluation notes. The imotion management quickly intervened to sort it out and it turns out that the problem was with referring doctors fax machine .

My 9 yr old son was feeling so sick n coughed a lot. I took him to see Natalie. She did cupping for him n prescribed some herbal medicine for him. He recovered in 2 days! She is super gentle to kids. Highly recommended! My son loves cupping a lot !

As a lifelong sufferer of allergies, Lynn’s allergy medicine has been a life saver. For years I have tried many different allergy medications, from claritin, to zyrtec, no allergy medicine has worked for me consistently throughout the day. However with Lynn’s Allergy Medicine, I can now go through the day without constant itching and irritation in eye and nose. I went to receive treatment from Kavita for tennis elbow that had not gone in 3 years in spite of steroids and PT.I have also been a migraine patient for 30+ years. I used to have migraine episodes every 3 days and since I started my treatment with her the migraines have gone down to almost none in the last few months and tennis elbow pain is down as well tremendously. Overall my body feels healthier and pain free:)Kavita is extremely skillful in her work and addresses issues with so much understanding of patient needs. I am so glad that I went to her for my treatment.

Dr.Wang is a fantastic acupuncturist. After each time visit I can see significant improvement from my skin condition. It helped me a lot. I highly recommended her to anyone who has been suffering from any skin disease.
I woke up one day with Bell's Palsy, a condition that cause a sudden weakness in the muscles on one half of my face. I was unable to move anything on that side of my face. Two weeks gone by taking medication prescribed by my doctor and no improvement (was told recovery will take 3-6 months). Decided to try acupuncture due to hearing great results. After my initial consultation and session with one of the male acupuncturists, I was referred over to Dr. Tao who specializes in Bell's Palsy. After my first session with her, I saw results right away. Did a total of 8 sessions, twice a week. By one month I was about 90% recovered. Highly recommend Dr. Tao and this place!

Dr Hi cannot do anything about western medicine not acknowledging or covering Acupuncture. Everyone should know this. You are lucky if you have insurance that covers this but that's your responsibility. This Dr works limited hours because he is retired and sometimes doesn't make enough to cover the rent. Let's help such experienced and sincere Drs. Dr only works to help people. I know this because before meeting him I paid nearly 3.5 times more.
