She is so fun and her teaching proficiency, professionalism, attention to detail and competency in music amaze me! She has such a great demeanor with the kids. She is encouraging and explains clearly what they should be doing. She goal sets with them and is patient in explaining anything they have trouble with. I love that they are also learning responsibility and time management in addition to piano, rhythm and music theory! I sit with the kids during lessons to make sure they are on task and Melinda can tell (by ear) if they are playing the wrong note and re-direct them. I am very thankful for her as great teachers, in any respect, are hard to come by and she always gives 100%. It is clear she loves people and what she does!
