Every time we go in for our lil chihuahua, the experience is awesome. They are worth the money spent. Staff is kind & explains all details from treatment plan to costs. Absolutely recommend this place.

An astonishingly intelligent and sensitive stray cat came into our lives recently. He became part of our family, but still likes to go outside every day, so my sons and I knew we needed to get him neutered. But we lost several family pets around the same time that I was widowed and my sons lost their father, so I was terrified about surgery for this wonderful kitty, being fearful of another loss. I need not have worried. Our cat was well taken care of and the neuter performed perfectly, without any difficulties, and the cost was lower than other vet clinics I contacted. I am very grateful to Folsom Vet Hospital for this. I would also like to address another review posted here. To the person who was upset about the techs laughing with and teasing her dog when it was scared - I would like to tell you to GROW UP. Having had to treat ear mites and other stressful issues with our cat, I know that some laughter and silliness goes a long way towards easing an animal's anxiety during stressful procedures. You should have been thankful for their levity while clipping your dog's nails! But by being so blindly self-centered as to post a negative review, you are hurting the livelihoods of people who have worked diligently to give quality care to the pets we cherish. Think before you post. These reviews are not to puff you up, making you feel important by complaining. I get so tired of seeing self-absorbed social media pettiness - to the point that some service providers give up on dealing with the public. These reviews are to help others make wiser decisions.

The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate. They took great care of my pup when she was sick, and they always answered my questions and concerns promptly. I felt confident that my pup was in good hands at Folsom Veterinary Hospital. Highly recommend Folsom Veterinary Hospital to anyone looking for a great veterinary care for their pets.
