I've been going to Mayra for a few years now and she always delivers! I've asked her for so many different styles over the years from bleaching, balayage, toning and the results never disappoint. My hair gets so dry and she makes sure that my hair is well conditioned and hydrated every time. My hair always comes back better than before. She's very knowledgeable and I love when she explains the process to me cause I'm clueless. It's also a plus that she's really easy to talk to, is super nice, and accommodating!

My daughter-in-law brought me here, along with my sister-in-law for pedicures. First of all it's a cute shop out front with very unique clothing and accessories and in back there are comfy chairs you could curl up in and read a good book. I chose the Plain Jane (their naked pedicure), and the girls got a Pioneer, and an Aquazona. They were both very happy with their choices, but agreed they want to go back for the plain Jane too! Each pedicure comes with a signature cocktail, made with brand name alcohol, not cheap knock offs. I would recommend Aquazona to the pickiest of customers, the ladies were as charming and fun as their shop!

My very first “ facial” experience was with Diane in the ambiance of her calm, beautiful spa.After carefully evaluating my specific needs she proceeded to provide the Deluxe Glow Hydrafacial. Much to my surprise, I have found two benefits from this facial. The first being true therapeutic relaxation as a result of the actual treatment. I was SO relaxed, it felt as though I was floating! Body massage can’t compare. The second longer lasting benefit was the smoothest, softest skin I have had in a very long time. I am so looking forward to my next appointment.

I have long, thick, naturally wavy hair. I've left disappointed from so many other salons because I never felt like the cuts complemented my thickness and texture.
I found Rarity in my search for a salon that offered extensions, because I thought maybe a stylist that could make thick extensions look great, could do the same for my hair. I chose Lauren because I really liked her portfolio. I am so happy with the results she gave me! She kept my length, but made sure we trimmed enough that my hair feels really healthy.

I was coloring my hair with brown hair dye from a box for years, my hair was getting darker and darker as more dye was getting deposited, and I just didn’t know how to even begin a transition to lighter hair. I'm brand new in the area and was having a difficult time finding someone who could cut naturally curly hair, let alone specialized in it, so I didn't hesitate to drive the 45 minutes to Folsom (a surprisingly charming town that I'm glad to have seen) when I heard a glowing review of "The Classic Curl Salon." I could not have been more delighted with the strangely different approach to cutting hair that Victoria used on my (badly in need of cutting) head of silver curls. And it looked terrific this morning despite walking the dogs in the rain last night and sleeping n it for 8+ hours! Assuming I can manage using the products and scrunching it myself after shampooing, I will happily make that drive on a regular basis to continue with Victoria because the cut looks great and feels just right. Highly recommend.

I needed a sharp cut for a wedding at the VFW and could only find time late afternoon the day of the wedding. Nobody could take me until I called Rob. In retrospect I'm very happy it turned out this way. Besides a fantastic cut Rob provided great conversation. He shop has a relaxed and welcoming vibe. I felt like I've known him for years. His shop has a lot of military memorabilia which make it clear he is a strong ally to the military. As retired Navy I felt very appreciated. I will be back for sure!
Sierra is one of the best barbers I've had in a long time I'm recently moved to the area and have shopped around for a new barber over the last year and barber blues came up as highly recommended so I thought I'd give them a shot. I happened to have the pleasure of sitting in her chair and I was very impressed with her knowledge of how hair grows and how new growth works, her knowledge of skin care and how to best take care of my skin so that my beard is at its best. I showed her pictures of the new style I was wanting to try out and she nailed it. My beard looked fantastic and I left looking and feeling like a brand new man. This review is long overdue! I have been coming here for years and so glad I found it after my move from the bay area. It is a true spa experience. The decor is rustic and farmhouse, think restoration hardware-esque. It's cute and more dim and quiet. They also have a HUGE selection of colors (high quality polish btw) from gel to dip to regular. I never run out of new things to try. Tips: Make a reservation online or by calling. They are pretty booked for the most part and walk-ins are not typically available. I usually park in the garage near Scott's as street parking can be hard to find and it's really hot during the summer. You are offered a beverage of your choice, water, tea, wine, and even sparkling wine, all included with your service. It is pricier than your usual walk-in place, and you get what you pay for. Mani's/pedis lasts around an hour each, they don't always have enough people to do both at the same time, and also depends on your preference. You get a nice hot stone massage, and for my gel mani it comes with paraffin wax as well. Don't shy away from the male technicians, they have strong hands for a deeper massage. They all pay close attention to detail, make sure you like the shape/length/color etc. I don't choose a person as they are all quite good. Can't wait to be back again!
At 40 weeks pregnant, I've been experiencing pains and exhaustion and my nails were chipped. Hubby's needed a good foot scrub, so we decided to book an appointment together. Kim was really great with color matching and said I look good in all colors! As soon as she showed me Gelaze Pink Voltage, I fell in love! Such a bright, pretty pink and I had the best massage with hot stone and hot towel! The massage chair I sat in focused on lower back which helped immensely 40 weeks pregnant! Nail technicians were Kim and Tren and total cost for my nails with gel was $50! I would recommend this local nail salon that opened in 2012, great conversation and they accept Venmo!
I love Belle Nail Spa. The nail technicians are friendly and gentle. You can get a basic pedicure for $30. One time, I bumped my toenail at the store after my pedicure. When I went in to get it fixed, my technician fixed it for free. I have always had a great experience here!

I found Lashmii based on their amazing online reviews. I am happy to confirm they are completely deserving of every 5 star! Bry is my absolute favorite- she always accomplishes the exact style I want, and my lashes usually retain for 3 weeks. I am a flincher, so I really appreciate how patient and light-handed she is to make sure I am comfortable. The cushioned reclining chairs are also great and Kaylee, the owner, is always around making sure every client is in love with their results. I highly recommend giving Bry and Lashmii a try!

She listens to what I think I want, but also offers up her years of expertise and recommendations in a way that yields great results. After each cut, Margaret provides me with (much needed) instructions on how to style my hair at home. When I get a compliment on my hair, I always know that's due to the great cut and color I received from Original Shears. Original Shears has a great selection of Aveda products to choose from. She’s a profesional, her work is clean she knows and advices how it will look better from her professional point of view and I have a complete trust!! Mitra is the best stylist at this salon and she is always so kind and helpful in finding what's best for your hair. She is very flexible with her schedule as she understands that people have alot going on. I would suggest you trying mitra for cut , color or style or blowouts. She is incredible at all her skills.

I had originally approached Jenna to treat my teenage son and daughter for acne. However Jenna didn't stop at just acne, she tailored an overall custom skincare routine for each kid, and her charges were consistent regardless of what how many methods were used to combat my kids various seasonal/hormonal changes. For example my daughter had some broken capillaries on her face, and she was able to resolve the issue within one visit, w/o any extra charges. My kids both have monthly visits with Jenna for almost a year now, and their skin can't thank her enough. Not to mention the skincare education she helps promote. Sometimes the mom sounds like a broken record. So it is good I have one less thing to nag the kids about.

My husband booked me a Facial and Massage for Mother's Day. The duration was both 60 minutes each. I had the Facial first. I think her name was Jennifer and she was awesome! My mother-in-law told me my skin was glowing and my complexion looked so good and smooth afterwards. I had a lot of congestion and she removed a lot of impurities in my skin. My skin was so smooth afterwards. She wore gloves and also put my hair back in a towel. It was a little different from what I am used to with the steam in my face, but it felt nice and very cooling on a hot summer day. She left to see if there was enough time to do one more thing before my next appointment. When she returned, she asked if she could trim my eyebrows. I didn't mind. Then she applied some serums and creams to refine my pores. It was so relaxing and I felt so nice and rejuvenated afterwards. She escorted me back to the waiting area until my next appointment for my massage. I waited maybe about 7 minutes after my facial appointment. I had such a great experience with Jennifer and was so excited for my next treatment. When i completed the form on the tablet initially, i mentioned in detail my problem areas like how the hostess said the mention. I again, mentioned to my masseuse about my problem areas before she began. I forgot what her name was, but it seemed like she was very new. She couldn't figure out the lighting in the room, didn't focus in the areas we spoke about beforehand. She kept apologizing for things... the pressure was very light for me and I mentioned she could apply more. She did for a little bit and then went back to light pressure again. Bummer. At the end, she mentioned that I should've told her about my lower back pain. All in all, it was a beautiful place. I think I would just come back for the facial only. I feel like the front desk needs to communicate better with the therapists and aestheticians about each appointment that is scheduled. Maybe have a team huddle before they open or something. It was Mother's Day so I guess it was a busy day for them. My friend's husband paid in full beforehand for her treatment, but the manager didn't communicate that with the receptionist either, so she had to call the manager to confirm. Other than the miscommunication, this place has potential.
I drive 40 minutes to go and see Melissa because no one does eyelashes like she does. Whether you like light and feathery or dramatic, she will create what you want. And the best part is they last twice as long as any other place that I’ve gone to.

Ting and her husband Josh took real good care of me. The team here at Shanghai Tattoo was patient and flexible insuring I got exactly what I asked for. I initially went in for a consultation and described what I was looking for bringing references to Ms. Ting. She wasted no time picking the perfect artist for the job @tattoobytala (ig) who studied the references briefly and custom designed my piece using his own style and expertise. Prior to the first session I had the opportunity to review the design and modify as needed. Tala is a master tattoo artist and his work is beautiful. He has a very soft touch, very precise. These guys are fun to hang out with and I enjoyed the whole experience. Spent about 20 hours on my back in 4 sessions with a 2 week break for healing after first session which was the lining. The time flew by. Will be returning for more tattoos.
Fantastic!! My wife had a piercing fall out and the hole was closing up quick. Jasmine was able to see us same day. Everyone in the shop was super chill to talk to while I waited and were extremely knowledgeable about tattoos. Jasmine was fast and super affordable. Thank you again.

I have gotten most of my ink done by Bill. I literally can’t commit to much of anything but to Bill and his wonderful tattooing, I am committed. Bill customizes each of my tattoos with a flair that is unmatched. His personality is also what brings me in. The environment is cozy and inviting. The conversation is always interesting. Bill can tell when I’m up to socializing or when I’m feeling particularly introverted. He is focused, with the lightest touch that produced the most intricate work. The pricing is very fair and the quality is wildly good. Truly cannot say enough about this shop and their artists. Bill is my go to guy! ?

I had both the carpet and tile/grout cleaned. There were numerous stains from a puppy, ground in dirt from other large dogs, and the grout was quite brown instead of the usual cream color. Bill came out to look and give an estimate. Two days later he came and completed a very thorough job. All the carpet stains came out, he worked quite hard on the tile and it looks brand new! (28 year old tile)It is clear that Bill knows his stuff and is very careful about taking care of things as well as a perfect job.Fair price for the work he did and he will definitely be coming back when we need cleaning again.
I have 2 dogs and I had some stains I thought would never come out. Michael did such an excellent job it looks and feels like I have brand new carpeting. I would highly recommend Michael to be able to tackle the toughest carpet cleaning jobs with “SPECTACULAR “ results.
A skunk sprayed our dogs and we had to put them into a shed that was in the middle of construction, temporarily, while we scared off the skunk. We were worried that the odor wouldn't ever come out of the insulation, drywall and untreated wood. The odor was so strong, it could be smelled from 6 feet away, with the door closed. After the treatment, the odor was COMPLETELY GONE. We would use Fairest Cleaning & Restoration again in a heartbeat.

We recently completed a downstairs remodel with Designing Dreams, and I am happy to say they exceeded our expectations! I had a very specific idea of what I was looking for and their team went above and beyond to get me exactly what I wanted. I felt like we were all in it together as a team to get to the end goal. The few situations that came up (there are always situations), they took responsibility for and were quickly remedied. Their standards are high, so they even saw things that didn't look right and fixed them without me even knowing. Their staff all work for Designing Dreams so I always got the feeling that they were like a big family. Every one of them was polite, friendly and respectful and not once did I feel like I didn't want any of them in my house. Every time I walk downstairs now, I feel like I am on vacation. I won't miss the mess, but I will miss working with the team at Designing Dreams!
We had no idea why our 3 y/o LVP was shredding and coming up. Dave provided clarity to the issue in a well written report. This was extremely helpful in obtaining a resolution with the subcontractor. * If you have flooring issues, call Dave. You need an expert on your side. DO NOT HAVE YOUR FLOORING COMPANY SEND THIER OWN INSPECTOR FOR FREE. They will not be able to divulge their findings. Please contact your own inspector, and pay for him yourself. It's well worth the money! Dave is very knowledgeable and kind, and he will help you understand the problem at hand in order to prevent future failures.
I can't begin to say how refreshing and great it was to work with Dave! From his immediate response to my inquiry message all through the process of remodeling our 2 bathrooms Dave was the consumate professional! He pays strict attention to every detail and he does everything within his power to make sure the project is even better than you envision. Dave is an artist when it comes to tiling and finish work and the results are beautiful. He is busy but if you're fortunate enough to be able to hire him you will certainly not be disappointed. OUTSTANDING! Over the past 12 months the Folsom Designing Dreams team has remodeled two bathrooms and a kitchen for me in two different homes. Each a beautiful, spacious home in Placerville, CA built in the 1980s. So, as is often the case with these older homes you pull up the carpet or knock down a wall and it's like Forest Gump's box of chocolates, "always a surprise inside." But each time, Randy M. (owner) would come to me and say either we "have to" or "you should" fix this newest surprise. Now, I do not consider this up-selling, but more like a friend informing me of something his team noticed and then giving me the option of having it taken care of now by them or later by someone else. Each time Randy provides a verbal cost estimate for these "change orders" to the original scope of work. The thing is, his verbal estimates are always near 90% accurate. And his original written estimates at start of the project were each a dead-on, bullseye hit! Designing Dreams team members are all professional, courteous, highly skilled and take great pride in their work - "All Stars", each of them. I especially enjoyed my working relationship with my Project Mangers, Jeff E. and Duncan B., I always felt I could call or text either of them whenever I had a question or concern. They were consistently friendly, responsive and helpful whenever I reached out. I also appreciated the milestone based payment plan and the weekly forecast of work to be performed in my home and by whom. Oh and, the kitchen and two bath remodels turned out amazingly well and are highly lauded by visiting family and friends. :) These guys and gals at Designing Dreams ain't cheap . . . but I consider them of great value! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Really great experience at Engel Family Dentistry. They were able to schedule and get me in me for an appointment very quickly. The office is clean and they have some fancy equipment I haven't seen before that made X-rays and scans of my teeth quick and easy. My hygienist Casey was amazing. I hadn't been to the dentist for a couple years after moving away from my old dentist, but Casey was very gentle while cleaning my teeth. She was also easy to talk to and made the whole visit very enjoyable. Dr. Engel was also very nice, great bedside manner. It's the dentist so I'm not going to say I'm looking forward to going back, but I'm definitely not dreading it!

I live in a remote area, so i have had to search and search and search for dentists that are in my network and I've tried 3 different dental offices and none of them were NEARLY as friendly, knowledgeable, or cared to help find solutions to our daughters dental needs and finding payment plans and such. They really helped us alot and the front desk girls were so nice to go check on my daughter every so often to alleviate my mom fears of my daughter being under anesthesia. Literally ALL of the people in there are good people that actually care about your baby's health. Idc if I have to drive 2 hours away, the service is worth it.
What an absolute gem of an office. From the ease of scheduling to the wonderful front reception to the beyond caring doctor I can go on and on. I called on a Thursday and got an appointment for my injured back on Monday, Dr. Potocki did a full exam and x-ray and I'II be going back tomorrow to go over my treatment plan. Hands down the best chiropractor I have ever had.

The care from the start was absolutely exceptional! I came in for severe neck pain to the point I could barely turn my head and after my first adjustment, I was already feeling much better in terms of pain and range of motion. The doctor and his staff took time to listen to my complaints and assist me as needed. In terms of the office it is clean, organized and a very upbeat environment!

We have been so happy with our experience at Finnell Chiropractic. My son and I have been going for a few months now and have had a lot of improvement in our issues. Dr. Benevento is great! I received a thorough exam and testing before my adjustment and he listened to my concerns/ medical history. Prior to the adjustment, he has you lay on a warm waterbed massage table to help relax you and get you ready for the adjustment. The adjustment went smoothly, he explains each step beforehand. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family.

I took my laboradoodle here after having a very negative experience at another groomer in town, and she was amazing! My doodle gets anxious at groomers (as most do) and she was great at making him comfortable. He came out with the perfect cut and no razor burn at all (which she explained comes from making sure the blade doesn't get too hot). I would highly recommend this groomer!

I had an amazing relaxing massage with Curt. It's a nice small place in Folsom, clean and very welcoming. You can hear a little street noise but it's not bad. You can tell Curt knows what he's doing and he really listens to what you need. Hope to come back again soon!

I booked a Migraine Massage with Jennifer & I could not recommend it more! This was my first massage ever and I’m so glad that I chose to go with Jennifer. To start, the spa smelled amazing & there was tea and cucumber infused water available when I arrived. The massage itself was really great, and Jennifer did a lot of work to break up all of my shoulder tension. She was extremely nice! Afterwards she showed me a great stretch to help keep myself from getting too sore. I will definitely be back!

Really beautiful salon and relaxing ambiance. Jessica was super nice and welcoming and did an amazing job with my relaxation massage but also worked out some annoying tightness in my lower back. I felt really good and rejuvenated after! Highly recommend her!

Angel is the most delightful receptionist and the surroundings bring peace to your heart and soul. Emiko's treatments are all encompassing. This is Japanese accupunture at its best.
