“I would like to thank Team Rooter in Simi Valley for their most accommodating efforts with me regarding the recent plumbing issue in my home. Kevin Zamora was the technician dispatched to assist and he was very pleasant beginning with his courtesy call, introduction, and notification of his scheduled ETA. Upon his arrival, Kevin immediately addressed our concerns. After the initial attempt to snake the drain (8ft), it was apparent this was going to require a more extensive approach. Initially I was concerned given that my family rents this home and it's not always pleasant notifying a landlord of repairs or costs. He provided a quote, and as expected, our landlord wasn't very pleased nor ready to proceed and ultimately declined the service until further notice. Kevin, taking notice of my disappointment, then informed me that he'd contact his supervisor Israel to seek further guidance. He then circled back and reassured me that he would do all he could to make sure the work would get done that very evening. Mind you, this was on a Sunday and now nearing 8PM. After making a few calls between his supervisor and myself, we again contacted my landlord and informed him of the next option and costs. Although he paused, sighed, and ultimately raised my blood pressure... he agreed and gave Kevin the green light to proceed. Within the hour Kevin returned with his supervisor, Israel, and they immediately began hydro jetting the clogged pipes and effectively removed all blockages and debris. Great customer service means following best practices like valuing customers' time, having a pleasant attitude, and providing knowledgeable and resourceful resources. “I had one of my AC units go out last week. It's a Goettl system that came with the property. It's an older unit, 20 years plus, but it was working fine so we figured we'd ride it out as long as it lasted before replacing it. We have family visiting, so this was not the best time for it to die. I took a shot and called Goettl and Frank came out to take a look. He had the system up and running again, but it wasn't easy. Amazingly he had the parts on his truck to replace the fan motor (again, this is a twenty-odd year old unit!)-- but he had this specific part it in his truck! lol. Amazing, actually. He ran into trouble from shoddy work due to a service call from another company before I owned the residence. His attitude was "I'm going to fix this... no matter what." I must say, his commitment was incredible. He kind of turned into MacGuyver to get this thing breathing again. Frank really loves his job and the entire experience was fantastic, which I'm sure I don't have to tell any of you on here how rare that is. He answered a litany of questions about AC-- he explained Goettl's systems, how they work, and what I should look for in my new system. So what did I learn? That Goettl stands behind their products even if they're 25 years old. He could have just said-- "Listen, you really should just bite the bullet and get a new system" like two other companies did that I brought in for quotes, but he didn't. He fixed it. No upsell. And now I am a hero this week. I will replace the entire system when it goes down again and I'm using Goettl. Thanks Frank! You're awesome.“
