“As a newly card-carrying member of AARP, I figured I should start wearing my glasses. The problem with that, though, is that the place I got them from gave me the wrong prescription, so it's pointless.
So, even though I WANT to be a good citizen and upstanding member of the Fallbrook community, I've been thwarted by useless glasses. How can one say that they care about their community and then drive around that community with poor eyesight? It's a hazard, and I'll be the first to admit it.
So! When AARP invited me to become a certified adult, sealing the deal with an, as yet undelivered, trunk-space organizer, I figured I should act the part, and go get my prescription fixed, even if only to protect my fellow Fallbrookians out on the roads and sidewalks in and around town.
Where was I going with all this? Oh yeah, glasses.
I said to myself, "Self, let's go do something about this reckless endangerment you keep submitting your friends and neighbors to, and get your glasses fixed."
So I drove to Vista Vision Optometry 's Fallbrook location, where I was met by Kendall, one of the optometrists there.
Kendall was very understanding and sympathetic to my (righteous) cause, and will be helping me to right my wicked ways.
So, bear witness, all ye wretched and righteous alike!
Go get your prescriptions fixed here. Your family, friends, and community will be able to sleep soundly, knowing that you did The Right Thing.
Also, Kendall fixed my sunglasses, which is awesome. They'd been held together with a keyring I found in my junk drawer, for the last 8 months.“
