LAM Acupuncture & Chinese Herbs

I had acupuncture at this place. The man at the desk had me fill out forms and wait in the waiting room. I waited about 25-30 minutes before they called me back. The man kept messing around with his nose. I was hoping he was just an office staff member, he called me back and before I could ask a question, he started working on my arm without wearing gloves. The bed I was lying on did not seem sturdy, and thank God for the paper sheet that my head was resting on because the cloth sheet was dirty and stained. The office was cluttered with plants and pictures, it looks like the spend more time on gardening then cleaning the office.

I was a patient at Lam Clinique and was treated by both Harvey and Kay Lam. At the time I was pregnant with my first baby and wanted to quit a very deep smoking habit for myself but especially my baby. I was very nervous having never been to acupuncture. They were both so polite and gentle, yet completely professional and so very knowledgeable, I was completely comfortable and trusted their care without a doubt. I did completely quit smoking and gave birth to a healthy 9lb baby boy. I couldn't have quit without their care. I went 1x week for 3 months. I actually tried to like this place. I didn't want my personal feelings to alter my review. First, this place needs a deep cleaning. Spiders and ants have made their home here, which made it extremely uncomfortable for me. Secondly, I've never had acupuncture before but I'm going to assume there are more updated machines.Thirdly, the minute a spider crawled near my head, I jumped up. This caused some of the needles to yank out. They gave me a buzzer to press in case I needed help, but when I buzzed, no one answered. Now I'm in worse pain, bruised and bleeding.I don't think the acupuncture is actually helpful for me and it may be the quality of service I'm receiving. I'm going to switch my location.
