“I had a wonderful Mother's Day kicked off with a tattoo session alongside my daughter. We got our fingers done, and they all came out great! Lexi did mine, and I wasn't sure how easy it would be to get them to look even and neat, especially since they are geometric, but she did an amazing job and I never get tired of looking at them. I am about to go back and get my other hand done. The museum studio is fascinating to look at while you're getting work done, the artists are professional, and everything is clean and sterile. Neither of us had any problem with healing. Definitely recommend!“

“See Jacob for your piercing needs! My 8 year old daughter was finally ready to get her ears pierced, but was terrified of the pain. Jacob was so incredibly kind, gentle, and reassuring to her. He talked her through every step of the process and she didn't even flinch when he pierced her ears! He is remarkably knowledgeable and answered all the questions we had. Jacob gave us detailed instructions on how to keep the piercings clean and even had cleaning spray for purchase at the shop. We were impressed with his high level of professionalism. I cannot recommend him enough!! Thank you Jacob for making this such a positive experience for my daughter!

“Ting and her husband Josh took real good care of me. The team here at Shanghai Tattoo was patient and flexible insuring I got exactly what I asked for. I initially went in for a consultation and described what I was looking for bringing references to Ms. Ting. She wasted no time picking the perfect artist for the job @tattoobytala (ig) who studied the references briefly and custom designed my piece using his own style and expertise. Prior to the first session I had the opportunity to review the design and modify as needed. Tala is a master tattoo artist and his work is beautiful. He has a very soft touch, very precise. These guys are fun to hang out with and I enjoyed the whole experience. Spent about 20 hours on my back in 4 sessions with a 2 week break for healing after first session which was the lining. The time flew by. Will be returning for more tattoos.“

“The tattoo on your guys's page on James shepherd with a dragon that says Taylor over it is amazing work I love the way the dragon came out in the style that it was done in and the fact that it was a memorial piece means it's hard to get that perfectly right for that customer and she did a wonderful job and nailed it for him and couldn't have been more happy with the work he got and the piece came out absolutely beautiful a+ work

Requested style: I can't remember the name of the lady who runs the place but she can do many different styles very well and I was extremely impressed with what she could do I would recommend this place to anybody

Specialities: I specifically wanted to get my tattoo in black and gray wash only and she had no problem doing that funny experience do I need that type of tattoo work

Cleanliness: What place is extremely clean spotless from ceiling to floor the employees are very clean don't have extreme hairdos were heavily get all over the place or very well manicured nails and stuff of that nature yes it's just overall extremely cleaned business if it was a hotel I give it five stars“

“Hey, my 81-year-old dad wanted a tattoo of my mom so badly. He'd never had one before and was ready to go to any old tattoo shop. But I told him, "Nope, Pop, I'm taking you to a really special shop with an amazing woman who'll do your first tattoo. She's very picky about who she tattoos." And wow, he was so happy to have his first and only love inked on his right side. He's over the moon that he waited for Pym to give him his first. It's a loving tribute to the woman he married for better or worse. Thanks so much for treating my stepdad with the utmost respect and honor. I'll always be grateful. And guess what? The shop is well organized. Super clean. The owner is cool. I've been to quite a few shops in my day and this one was fun. I really enjoyed watching everyone come in for their appointments and the process they go through. This is definitely IMO a 10-star shop

“Stefanie is AMAZING! This is one of the best shops I've ever been to. I am extremely picky about where I go to the point where it took me over 15 years to find a new tattoo artist. The shop is clean, everyone is super friendly, the atmosphere is great, and Stefanie and Tony are the best. I have been here 4 times since March and plan on coming back again and again. “I have gotten most of my ink done by Bill. I literally can’t commit to much of anything but to Bill and his wonderful tattooing, I am committed. Bill customizes each of my tattoos with a flair that is unmatched. His personality is also what brings me in. The environment is cozy and inviting. The conversation is always interesting. Bill can tell when I’m up to socializing or when I’m feeling particularly introverted. He is focused, with the lightest touch that produced the most intricate work. However I will never leave Imperious Rex while Mike is at the shop. Mike Manson (@mumbles.art on Instagram) is hands down the most versatile and phenomenal artist I have come across. He also works side by side with Rachel, who in her own right is an amazing talent that I look forward to working with. Mikes stylistic elements make creatures come to life, his attention to detail is unparalleled and his bedside manner makes each client feel relaxed and at ease. The shop itself is by appointment only, as it should be with the level of talent within. The atmosphere is upscale and like a museum of original artwork by each artist. I would be lying to say that I didn't pine after each piece on the walls I would kill to own for my personal collection. The parking lot offers ample parking, with plenty of food and coffee choices adjacent. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment, you won't be disappointed.“
