Heather Hunter began her career in the mortgage industry in 2002, starting out as an assistant to a small mortgage broker. Quickly learning the ropes, she transitioned into the role of licensed loan officer, moving into the wholesale arena of mortgage lending and working as a multi-million dollar producing rep with Wholesale Lending Online and Vertice/Wachovia for several years. Her desire to work directly with consumers led her back to loan originating, where she was able to incorporate into her work her passion for educating homeowners and first-time buyers on how to successfully navigate the mortgage process while also avoiding unscrupulous lenders along the way.
