I saw Aria in 2019. I went in complaining of stomach issues and constipation. Right away she suggested that I change my diet to Paleo. I was resistant as I have already taken so much out of my diet, but Aria assured me it would help. Honestly as someone who is a little fat I felt that she pressured me into it. It wasn't fun, but I did try it. Right away I felt terrible, so I emailed her. She told me this was normal and it would get better. The acupuncture was helping it but when I didn't see her my digestion went back to bad. After this I stopped seeing her as she went on leave. Unfortunately I followed this advice for years, thinking it would "fix me." I have since then learned this was terrible advice, as I have IBS. When I tired to each Paleo, I removed all of the grains from my diet and then added a lot of inflammatory vegetables. This was NOT the correct diet for me. I am now on the Low FOD-MAP diet and am better than I have been in years! Let me be clear acupuncturist ARE NOT DIETITIANS. DO not follow her diet advice. I did email Aria in the past year and ask why she would give me this advice. She did not take responsibility for giving me the wrong advice. I found her response very disappointing. She did not seem to understand how much this advice hurt me. If you have IBS or any digestion issues please see a registered dietitian and your doctor. It took me years of pain to get here.

Dr Simpson has been a huge help with the pain in my lower back through nutrition and acupuncture. She has helped me get back into a regular work schedule and that has allowed me to lead a normal life again. Do your self a favor and give her a call, you won't be sorry.

I rarely give 5 stars, but this care provider should get 10 stars! Aria provides personalized and professional services with great skill, finesse and she really listens deeply. She is respectful and one of those people with whom you instantly feel comfortable with. I trust her instincts and her well-honed, broad knowledge of Chinese medicine, traditional herbal remedies and acupuncture. Absolutely divine!
