Providence Medical Group Eureka - Cardiology

This group has treated my husband well in the past despite struggling with finding providers. This is our 4th new doctor in 2 years.Our "new" cardiologist, Dr Posner was a nightmare.He spent 2 hours (no exaggeration) regaling us with philisophical stories about accepting death and about himself and how wise he is. He even brought up euthanasia.He knew he had another patient waiting but kept droning on about things we never asked his opinion about and didn't allow us to respond or have input.Over the top smug, exceptionally arrogant and blatantly insensitive.

I have been at what used to be Eureka Internal Medicine since 1995 when the place was owned and managed by All the doctors that practiced here . I loved it ! When St Joe's (Slows) bought the practice It went from great to not so great ! Then Providence came on board I was hoping things would improve ! My hopes have been dashed ! And the new and vastly unimproved phone system(SIC) sucks !! Used to be I could call my doctors office WTHell And disregard the one star as they only rate a minus 10

My husband was sent to Stanford for a heart procedure, the doc who sent him to Stanford then left the area. this was in November 2022. Stanford said get yourself to local cardiologist.. The soonest he could get appointment was August 2023. Still waiting……
