After several questionable haircuts, I went to Bill--at the time, mostly for advice on how to use a straight razor. It was such a great haircut that the next day, my future wife, who I had not met yet, came up and introduced herself! Now I won't go anywhere else!

What a great experience! Just got my first haircut in over a year. I had taken to shaving my head during the pandemic but in November I started to let my hair grow out. To say the least I looked a bit like a wild man!Thanks to Bill l look respectable once again. I appreciate the time he took and the fact that he does a great consultation. Not only am I pleased with the consultation but Bill also is a great conversationalist! Thank you Bill for making my visit so good. It was great just seeing another human being!If your looking for a place which is more than a haircut mill, go see Bill! Five !

Most comfortable barber shop in Humboldt county, actually the nicest barber shop I've been inside. Bill has nice leather couches and furniture, plenty of reading while you wait. Often people will stay a little after their cut just to hang out for the conversation.I don't even need to try and justify Bill's skill, he hasn't just learned a process, he is an intelligent person who understands the nuances and will even explain them to you if you so desire.I'm a Humboldt native and I can tell you this is the barbershop to go to. Period.
