Needed around a 2' x 4' remnant of Carrera marble for a job. Bob had a 3' x 5' piece on hand in the yard- texted me a picture and an estimate (which was a great price). Was able to pick it up a couple days later at the slab yard, and they helped load it into my van. Super chill experience. Totally recommend.
Amazing job and service!!! I would only hire Kelton for granite countertops. His quote was a bit higher, but he didn't just seal it and save us from having to have it fixed again, potentially in a few months or so. Many of the others who quoted prices were only $150 less for fixing the 5-6 inch crack and were just going to seal it. It would have taken them a couple of hours to seal. Kelton was here almost all day, and the results are beautiful!! Kelton went above and beyond expectations, and he even sealed our entire granite countertops again with no extra charge. Our granite countertops were put in in 2007 so it did have the steel rod in there that had rusted. Apparently, new ones aren't installed with steel rods anymore due to this problem with rusting.I asked another person who quoted if they would be addressing this, and they said the $500 quote would not cover this amount and the detail of work. If you have granite work, I highly, highly suggest you compare and send a request to TCC Slab Yard. Kelton does all of their repair requests, apparently. Here is what he told me based on the pictures that I sent him initially. "The damage is linked to a rusting rod, but thankfully it is hasn't grown too much yet. So what I will need to do is break off the section that is cracked, remove the piece of steel and then piece it back together & polish. In addition, I will redo the seal around your sink and seal the granite to protect it from further damage.""To properly fix that the actual steel rod will need to be removed from inside of the stone, if someone was to offer to fill your stone with epoxy then you will have the crack start to grow within a couple of months. I repair these types of cracks all of the time, and you won't have any future problems once I'm done." Thank you Kelton of TCC Slab Yard!!!
