We have had rooftop solar since 2003. Our 20 year guarantee expired and became subject to the new, absurdly low, rates SDG&E pays for excess electricity. We decided to get a backup battery and selected Baker Home Energy to install it. Working with our sales person was both informative and stress free. We discussed both the Tesla Powerwall3 and Sonnen batteries and opted for the Tesla Powerwall3 due to an available rebate. Antomio Diaz and Jose Balderas installed our battery. Both were highly skilled, efficient, and helpful to us in explaining how things would work once the installation was complete. We had originally contacted Semper Solaris because they are veteran owned. They declined to give us general information unless it was by way of a salesperson visiting our home. We wrote them two letters via USPS, almost begging them to talk with us. We never received the courtesy of a reply. So Baker Home Energy got our job as well as our son's job which consisted of a new roof, rooftop solar and a Tesla Powerwall3. Buying a backup battery is an expensive decision and we were pleased with the way Baker Home Energy handled every phase of our job.
Baker Solar is Top Notch! Everyone, from sales, support to the technical installation team is friendly, helpful and professional. I recently installed 17 solar panels, a Tesla Powerwall 3, and a new electrical panel. We originally scoped the project in 2023 but completed it in the summer of 2024 due to delays on my side. Baker was patient throughout the year it took me to get my project aligned and once I was ready to move forward they jumped in to get my system installed...seamlessly. I wanted to shout-out Fernanda Rebollar. She was my main point of contact throughout. She was patient, friendly, and always willing to answer my questions or point me to someone who could. She's the reason I give Baker 5-stars, she's phenomenal and a perfect Project Coordinator! I always felt I was in great hands with Fernanda. She built that level of trust, super impressive! She always got back to me, and I asked a lot of questions. Thank you Fernanda and the rest of the Baker team for a great customer experience! Be careful who you choose to do your solar project. With Baker you needn't worry. They are pros!
Baker installed a new Tesla 3 Battery at our home. They were extraordinarily professional, efficient and pleasant. They installed them battery and respective hardware, tested the system and instructed me on its use. Baker exceeded my expectations!
