The worst accounting program ever.Period.Outdated program is written in Visual Basic (the sign of age!), and run by a tiny company. Why take a risk for your valuable finance management? Quickbooks is much more reliable, feature-rich, and cost-effective. Try importing or exporting, you'll know you're out of luck. Quickbooks allows importing/exporting with versatile field mapping.Getting customer support is a nightmare. You'll waste weeks in getting one answer.Considering its low quality, the price of AME is very expensive. You'll easily end up paying over $1,000 EACH YEAR, which is equivalent to the Enterprise package of Quickbooks desktop.Avoid at all costs!

I've been with AME Software for over 20 years. AME Software is absolutely the best payroll and accounting software out there! It's user friendly, extremely affordable and the customer service is outstanding. If you are looking for a payroll or accounting software, I highly recommend AME Software

Don't know how their payroll software works as I relied on my bookkeeper to process payroll. When I decided to change payroll systems, and did a data extraction from AME payroll software, they make it as hard as possible to switch. So unfortunate they would take that approach for customers.
Even If I switch payroll systems again, I wouldn't go back to AME.
