David and Sons just finished up remodeling my entire home including a kitchen and two bathrooms- they did an amazing job. Their GC was very punctual and runs a tight ship, they came in on time and on budget. The craftsmanship they put into their work shows big time and will last for years to come. This isnt my first rodeo with contractors and these guys hit it out of the park- the wife was super happy. Lastly, I want to give a special thanks to Joseph for going above and beyond guiding us through the process. These guys are 5 stars all day.
I contacted David and Sons to update my kitchen cabinets and countertops, as well as my master bath and powder room. They responded immediately, and came to my house to consult within days. Joseph had great vision and suggestions for all 3 rooms, and began demo the following week. I am ecstatic with the results. The cabinetry is pristine - quartz countertops are gorgeous - the kitchen transformation amazing. When unexpected issues arose, Joseph responded quickly, and brought in plumbing and flooring guys that competently addressed the issues. Work was completed in an efficient, timely manner. I cannot recommend these contractors highly enough! They are the best, and I am already planning on future projects in my home for David and Sons to complete!
I feel a bit embarrassed for posting this review because it has been about 3 years since David & Sons Remodeling removed and retextured the outside of my Mom's house. Actually my brother was the one who found them and set up the appointment for them to remove the brick, which was detaching from our home. I had no hand in finding them. In any case, we were giving the quote about how much it would cost and they also noticed while talking with us about the lighting in our home and concerns about the insulation in the attic. Later they came back and included the extra repairs they were thinking about and updated the quote. I felt that they were honest about how much it would take to fix these problems, even though initially it was about the brick on the outside. At this moment I can't remember the quote but it was expensive, but considering what they did like repairing the duct work in the attic, disinfecting the attic because they found a dead rat that was mummified in the attic that caused a rotten smell when the central air came on, repairing the brick, installing new insert lights in the kitchen and stating in the long run it would improve the home was true. My brother had a different opinion about it, but I was happy because they took care of problems that had to be addressed and they didn't sugar coat how much it would cost to repair those problems. I'm not saying I like to spend money just to spend money, but I know the cost of remodeling is expensive. They finished the project and didn't leave and unfinished items behind. I live in Northern California, so the circumstances might be different for people in Southern California, but for me they worked out very well. In addition, I felt comfortable talking to them and wasn't intimated by them in any way.
