I see Dr. Joseph and he is so good and attentive. I normally don't have to wait to long I am usually in out. The glasses they have are very nice and overall it is just a nice office. I've been a patient here for about 4-5 years or so.

Dr. Etting and his office staff are very accommodating and friendly. It did take some time to get an appointment, as they are usually booked a couple months out. Once we were seen by the doctor, he spent an ample amount of time with our family explaining the eye issue my son was experiencing and discussed different treatment options. My husband and I are very pleased with Dr. Etting's game plan for our son. Will update once treatment is completed. Note: vision therapy is typically discouraged by optometrists and ophthalmologists alike. They immediately pushed for glasses and eye surgery instead of exhausting all other options first. I'm so glad we decided not to listen to the naysayers.

I have had eye surgery when i was 1&2 years old twice for strabismus and extropia. By the same doctor who for ever reccommended me glasses. I than searched kaisers optometrist department in 3 different locations and they all told me wear glasses and denied me strabismus surgery. Then stepped out of the network to see private doctors which i found they provide much more care for me than any big hospital. Then found dr.zdenek eye institute in which i am very grateful for. Who referred me to Gary Etting and between the Two they are both A+ doctors who actually care for there patients wants needs and well being. Ive seen lots of eye doctors and this eye doctor and there office and staff OUTPERFORM the rest.Im really big on doing my own research on my diagnosis from any doctor just to ask better questions and also i believe it keeps them on there toes. Well the eye doctors here actually answered every question i asked whether good or bad question and given so much more info on top of that. If you have any eye problems this place is your very first resort. You will not be disappointed!
