“Dr. Chang and her team are the best around. We came to TACOE during the pandemic with our diabetic senior Dachshund when our vet closed suddenly. Our dog, Oreo, was cared for lovingly and we always felt the same. Sadly, Oreo crossed the rainbow bridge at the end of April, however we will always be grateful for the care we all received. We will be back, when we have four legged creatures in the future. Owen Kugell“

“My cat Gata was very sick so I took her to see Dr. Blake. He was very kind and took the time to answer my questions and give me all the options based on his recommendation. I didn't feel like I was just another client. We were like family and he kept me updated with her condition. She ended up needing surgery and Dr. Blake was very understanding and listened to all my concerns.
The entire staff was friendly and helpful. Their compassion for my cat and what I was going through was extremely appreciated. Thank you for the excellent care you gave to Gata and to myself!
I highly recommend taking your beloved pets to Northridge Animal Medical Center.“

“Love this vet practice!!! Dr. Mike is incredible but I haven't had a bad experience with any vet we've seen for our dog Ivy and I never feel like they are trying to up charge me or do anything unnecessary. At previous vets I felt like they would do unnecessary blood work or X-rays to make more money. Never here. They are so kind and caring I feel lucky to have found them.“

“After having my two cats for a long time at a particular vet (not Center Sinai) I was beginning to experience issues where after having a visit or running tests I could never get a vet or anyone to walk through with me the details of lab results that were not normal or other physical situations the cats were experiencing. Additionally the prices for every service seemed to be going sky high. Every solution to an issue was some expensive test or screening that were the price of a good used car. A friend of mine suggested Center Sinai and I brought my two cats there for an introductory general checkup, rerun lab results, xray one cat's hip etc. The vet was incredibly informative and took the time to walk through everything with me. The xray showed some arthritis and a shot was given that has vastly improved my cat's pain level and quality of life. A non-general anesthesia teeth cleaning was recommended for one of the cats which I never knew existed (my former vet would only do the anesthesia one which among other things stresses the pet and cost thousands of dollars). One cats abnormal lab results from the former vet were reviewed and deemed not alarming (the former vet assistant told me the vet considered them alarming and said a sonogram costing thousands would need to be done) re-ran the lab and everything was normal. I am extremely happy to have found a caring, fair and informative vet for my cats and am relieved to be done with a vet I felt I could no longer trust.“

“We have been to this vet with 3 different cats this year and each time has been a great experience! Conner was particularly wonderful when teaching us how to administer subcutaneous fluids. He's so patient and explains things clearly. I like this place because you actually get to see and talk with the doctors. The reception is always welcoming. It's calm here. It doesn't feel chaotic. They explain all costs to you before they do anything so there aren't any surprises. I also feel it's a lot more affordable than a lot of other places we've been.“

“Today was my pup's first visit to Dr. Johnson to address a digestive issue which has stumped my usual vet for months.

On-site parking was plentiful. I was immediately impressed with the staff -- they took the time to ask a lot of questions about the reason for our visit and what had been going on with the dog. They really listened and offered a lot of valuable information before we even saw Dr. Johnson.

Dr Johnson took us exactly on time and was a breath of fresh air. She seemed incredibly knowledgeable, which have me a lot of confidence. Also, I never felt rushed. She took plenty of time to listen to the entire history and talk through what seems to be a very sensible and practical treatment plan.

These days, most vets (not to mention doctors) make you feel like just another number on their endless conveyor belt. That was definitely not my experience with Dr. Johnson and the staff. They listened carefully, made me feel heard and took the time to make sure I understood everything they said. In my opinion, that is a level of professionalism and care very rarely seen these days!“

“Dr. Tamura is the most amazing vet and wonderful human. She took care of our guinea piggie with chronic dental issues, saving his life twice! She gave him quality of life and the ability to enjoy what he loved the most: EATING! Our family is so grateful. She is fair priced and she cares about the pets. I couldn't be more grateful for all Capri Pet clinic has done for us. Highly recommend.“

“We saw Dr. Werner for about a year for our dog's environmental allergies. He helped us figure out the best medication for her and always made sure she was getting the best care for her allergies. We tried immunotherapy, atopica, and apoquel. We appreciate that he worked with us to figure out how to best help her with the knowledge we had about her allergies. He and the front desk staff (Cynthia and Bonnie in particular) were always kind and friendly with our girl which made her happy to be there which is no easy feat. Dr. Werner was also the vet that helped us figure out what was going on with our girl when her health declined with what we thought was a hystiocytoma. He was very gentle and careful with her and that truly makes all the difference when your dog is ill. I'm a type A mom so I had ALL the questions and follow up questions and he always answered them. Beyond Dr.Werner's care we always appreciated Bonnie's kindness - in person and on the phone. Once we got a cancer diagnosis, she asked to be kept updated about our girl even though we weren't actively working with Dr. Werner due to the new diagnosis. She spoke with me and gave me guidance and promised to keep dr.Werner updated. She also always made sure to reach out to vets when in need of records which always helped because not all vet offices are always on top of that. She is truly a one of a kind person that went above and beyond and that's not easy to find in veterinary medicine especially since she works the front desk and didn't have to spend that time speaking with me. The only thing I wish had been different was how they informed us that her cytology report was positive for cancer. I got a call on a Monday morning from a man, maybe a lab tech (I believe his name was Chris but I'm not sure - we'd never spoken before) and he just said "the report came back consistent with cancer, dr. Werner suggests contacting an oncologist". Normally for a call about results I'm used to a doctor informing me, not some random guy I've literally never spoken to. It was also heartbreaking news and to have it delivered so straightforward without any consolation (no "I'm sorry" "I know this is hard" etc) was a bit jarring. But I don't want this to reflect on the center as a whole because they were always good to her and truly gave the best care we could hope for with her allergies. Would definitely recommend.“

“Moving from Florida to California I was very worried about finding a good veterinarian for my best friend Bentley. Ironically where I moved into, I found out that this establishment was not even a 5 minute walk from my place. I decided to check it out due to how clean and nicely designed the veterinary office was, but also for how close it was.

I had a strong feeling that Pacific Animal Clinic would be a great place, but after Bentley's visit, it's *definitely confirmed* that this is an amazing establishment! Everyone who works here are literal angels. From the moment we walked in, Bentley and I were treated with such care and compassion that I knew we were in the best hands.

What really blew me away was the attention to detail. They even sent me a detailed report of Bentley's visit, and get this—*they included this amazing picture of Bentley!* I AM LITERALLY SCREAMING LMAOOOOO! Thank you for not only making Bentley healthy but also for this amazing cinematic masterpiece that I will now print out and hang all around my house.

If you’re looking for a clinic where your fur baby will be loved and cared for like a member of the family, look no further. Pacific Animal Clinic is truly one of a kind!“

“Have to be fair! Northridge Vet actually did send all paperwork to the insurance company! They (Embrace Pet Insurance) sat on the claim and then held it up for weeks! Results, sorry, we don't cover one cent of $4,500.00 surgery bill!! Beware of Embrace Insurance! They will happily process the $6 dollar claims and hold up the others! Do not Embrace them if you love you pet! Looking for another pet insurance.“

“I'm honestly shocked by the negative reviews. I've brought my dog here for the past 5 years since she was a puppy and always received good care. She's had two surgeries which I was super anxious about and all went well. In my experience the doctors have always been kind and listened to my concerns. I'm the person that will opt in for the additional testing when offered up because I want peace of mind. Yes, it's definitely pricey, but personally I will pay any amount to ensure my baby gets the best possible care when needed. I also appreciate that they've always been able to accommodate a next day appointment, sometimes even same day, which I know is not the case everywhere!“

“When our thirteen-year old mixed rescue was afflicted with idiopathic sudden acquired retinal degeneration syndrome (SARDS) and suddenly lost his vision it was a devastating experience. Following our Vets advice we sought diagnostic confirmation and evaluation from a canine ophthalmologic specialist to preclude other possible pathologic causes. We were able to secure a speedy exam by Dr. Silverstein, who confirmed the SARDS diagnosis and took abundant time to explain our dog's condition and answer all our questions regarding SARDS idiopathic nature. He provided patient and comforting counseling on how our dog will likely adapt to sudden vision loss and how best as owners we adjust to accommodate to our dog's needs. His office staff and technicians were empathetic and very helpful, and Dr. Silverman was knowledgeable, responsive, and professional. I can only provide honest comment on our interaction with CAECC and Dr. Silverman, which was exceptional.“
