“I earned my First Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo in my early 20s in Northern California. Years later after marriage and kids I enrolled my son, and later my daughter in Master An’s Dojang in Vista. “A couple of years ago we decided to look for a wrestling program for our two young boys. My wife googled wrestling programs in Del Mar and found team Puma Wrestling. She read some testimonials for Coach Isaac then called him to set up a trial day. We were so impressed with the program, the facilities(at Cathedral Catholic campus), and coach Isaac that we signed up right away. We also made friends with the other parents day one too and now hang out all of the time with them outside of wrestling. It's truly a family tribe environment with all kinds of different levels of wrestlers. From beginners to state champs! They do tumbling/ gymnastic type training, wrestling technique , and plenty of conditioning training as well. Highly recommend checking it out if your kids want to grow mentally and physically! It's great for both girls and boys! Lots of both attend each night. Coach Isaac has coached some young girls all through their career to become national champs!“

“I was in Vista for work for a couple of weeks from Chicago & although I didn’t get to drop in to as many classes as I would’ve liked, it was a great experience. No crazy uniform requirements. No crazy SoCal drop in fees. Just the love of jiu jitsu with super nice & friendly training partners. No egos or attitudes, just high level jiu jitsu. A great experience for someone who had only been training for 6 months prior to my visit. Professors Mark & Martin are good guys who run a good gym. Next time I’m in the Vista office, I’ll be dropping in again. If you’re in the area you should check them out!“
