“I have had, and continue to have, an amazing experience at HH. My introduction to hyperbaric treatment came about after a procedure to treat about a year's worth of chronic back pain. Alex and crew have taken what could be a mundane intervention and transformed it into a spa-like experience. I LOVE coming here! The dive itself is relaxing and afterward, you transition to the decompression space with plush zero-gravity chairs, warm face towels, and fruit-infused water. I opt for red-light therapy after my dive, and this too, is elevated with cold towels and more of that fruit-infused water. In short, Alex has created a very beautiful and zen healing space. I, and everyone around me, have noted a significant ramp-up in my recovery. I can honestly say that not only am I walking better, I am looking younger (wink), and getting the best sleep of my life. “I saw Dr. Ban after almost two weeks of debilitating pain. Before Dr. Ban it was urgent care and Dr. visits, all resulting in the offer of pain meds and time to feel better. After one visit to Dr. Ban I felt hope and at least 50% better. “I not only avoided two surgeries (which had been the only treatments suggested by doctors when using my regular health plan and insurance), but uncovered how different health issues I’m having were inter-related - being caused or exacerbated by each other. So, for example, the treatments ordered by my orthopedic joint doctor for tissue tears can be problematic with anemia and elevated blood glucose levels, and likely counterproductive to success with surgery advised by my orthopedic foot doctor.Each of the (excellent) doctors in the business-as-usual healthcare practices and facilities covered by insurance mostly treats conditions and body parts discretely - even the PCP’s, who are supposed to have an overview and to act as a kind of conductor. This is made worse by the processes used and needed to shepherd people through that whole system.In other words, in this instance, if I’d followed the advice and insurance-approved treatments, the results could have been anywhere from pointless and ineffective to creating more damage.“

“Firstly, check your attitude at the door; they don't pay the receptionist enough to deal with your personal BS - get your s*** together and come in correct. 2 of the last 3 times I was in the waiting room I had to listen to adult-children complaining about things that, ultimately, were their responsibility. Oh, and don't cuss, threaten or try any BS - they will not put up with it and you will find yourself without this clinic as an option. Very professional folks, clean and well-lit operation (somewhat of a rarity with places that take MediCal). Dr. Rosenfield is very good, caring professional who is sincere and honest. My only complaint, and hence the 4 stars, is that he has some difficulty with negative confrontation - it would have been nice to know that he doesn't deal with disability patients/claims months prior. So, as long as that isn't an issue, the service is top-notch and the people were very real and authentic.“

“This center is great! The staff was friendly with me and Dr Ketchum is a wonderful doctor, the last time I saw him was 2007 for a Workers Comp case. He was very attentive and gave me a prescription for Physical Therapy at this place up the block from his office. This PT group was fantastic! I was suffering with intense pain and with several months of PT with this group, I was doing great again. If you want to heal, I would recommend Dr Ketchum. He listens and is very attentive.“

“I stated to see Dr Chiu because of brain fog, occipital neuralgia and gut issues. I started to see him when I was 60 years old. My Mom died of dementia and I was worried I was headed in the direction. My journey started with him in late 2018 and continued early in 2019. At that time my first consultation was $500 for 60 minutes, then a 25 minutes appointment was $300. He did raise those prices while I was still getting treated. He was wonderful, compassionate, and heard my issues like no doctor had ever done. I often got teary eyed when he would give me feedback because I was so desperate. Financially, it was a huge strain. He recommended I do the 5 day Brain Save Program, which was $4995.00, the MBCW 12 week treatment plan for $1,995.00. I did both programs and bought all the supplements that he recommended. I did an elimination date for 30 days right off the bat, which made a tremendous difference. My gut was a mess. The 12 week treatment included infrared light treatment, oxygen treatment and some kind of vibration therapy, and the sauna treatment. I loved everything about my time spent there. I definitely spent over $10,000 in the few months I saw him. The treatment dropped off after the conclusion of my MBCW 12 week SESSION. I don't know how I dropped off, because he said they would follow up with me to see how I was doing. At the end he got my results of my GI MAP test $525, and my SIBO test, $345, and gave me the print out of both tests, but I never got a explanation from him because honestly, his $500+ office visit was just more than I could afford for the test explanation. Sorry I didn't do that, but I can't imagine how much he charges now. He works mostly, I felt like, with concussion patients when I was there. Most of the people I spoke to while we were there together had some brain trauma. I found all of my issue cleared up once I cleared my gut issues up. He is also a chiropractor, and I saw him for a few sessions, which were wonderful. Initially we thought my occipital pain came from inflammation, so I had hoped me changing my diet would help, but I had an extreme painful neuralgia during my treatment with him. I have now found out that it's a posture issue, which I found out through process of elimination. It was a once in a lifetime treatment for me because of the cost, and fortunately, my brain fog and gut issues went away with my change of diet. For me, I probably could have seen just a function medicine doctor and had a similar result. Now that I have educated myself more on gut issues, brain fog is a very common symptom for gut issues.“

“If you ever find yourself 7 months into a high risk pregnancy and you all of the sudden have to get a new obgyn, go here. You might as well anyway, as no one else is gonna take your liability ass. The good news is that you'll be in great hands! I saw both Dr. Goldman and Dr. Marinoff for my prenatal and postnatal care, and I was very impressed by both of them. Both were very thorough, as well as supportive and patient. I'm needy and need these kinds of doctors. I never once felt rushed or pressured in anyway. Every question was answered and every wish was respected. The rest of the staff is fantastic as well - The office gals, the nurses involved in my postnatal care, and most of all, their in-house (I think in-house?) counselor. Unfortunately I got hit with the PPD monster and really need some sort of game plan to get through it. She has been wonderful and I truly would have been in a pretty bad place if it weren't for her knowledge and guidance. Finding a doctor this late in a high-risk pregnancy is no picnic, and after hitting wall after wall after wall in finding a doctor that could take me (Thanks Covered California! But not really), I truly thought I was going to have to spend the last trimester winging it. No joke. Thank you so much to everyone at East Bay Perinatal for taking good care of me! I think I may just get myself knocked up again just to see y'alls again. I'm totally kidding. I like you guys, but not enough to grow another parasite :-)“
