Abante was great. My call was treated with concern and ASAP scheduling that worked for me. The service person fixed both my problems quickly, yet he took the time to answer questions and explain what he was doing. The price wasn’t as bad as some reviewers imply, and I care about value, which requires a good product, not just a cheap price. And do any of the complainers know what it costs to run a building or home maintenance company these days?? We are fortunate to have good resources like Abanti in our community.

Abante just finished a major repiping job at our 6 unit apartment building in Berkeley. They were neat, efficient and terrific craftsmen. They always left the water on at the end of the day so tenants were never without. They were practically dust free when opening plaster walls. They were diplomatic with the tenants. We worked with a T&M agreement and they came in right about where we had estimated. I don't hesitate to recommend them!

I've called them three times in the past two years and someone has always picked up my call. They are here in a snap and have shown up at the agreed time all three times. Their prices are reasonable and I don't worry about being taken for a ride. Maybe they treat me extra nice because they've got the HOA contract at my place but I prefer to think the reason we gave it to them is for their excellent service.
