It just so happen i was driving past Berkeley Tattoo Parlor and saw their door opened on the top and closed on the bottom. For some reason, it appealed to me and i decided to pull over. As i stepped into the stop, i met Keene. From the moment i met him, i knew i would come back to him.<br>I strike up a conversation with Keene showing him my design and telling him of my needs. Not only was he welcoming, he was also really respectful and listened to my needs. Although the impromptu consult probably lasted, 15 min, it left a huge impression with me. In less than a week, i requested an appointment with him.<br>Today, i came in for my tattoo and everything went accordingly. Not only did we pause for breaks, and checked the artwork, there were also some improvisations. Keene communicated with me very well about expectations of recovery and even the process of color changes and such. Though i felt i was nit picking at certain things, he gladly complied.<br>My tattoo came out more beautiful than i imagined and im in love.<br>Even though the tattoo took a longer than anticipated, it was very detail oriented and Keene slowed down a bit cause im highly sensitive and getting tattooed hurt more than i anticipated, Keene kept his price he estimated for me from our consultation.<br>I was able to interact with some of his other fellow colleagues and everyone there was super chill with great attitudes, fun conversation and super hygienic and safe.<br>Berkeley Tattoo Parlor may not be Art Deco and modern like some of the newer places but it keeps its traditional old school looks with some old school tattoo techniques you dont find much of anymore.<br>If you want a great deal with great care and great attitudes that comes with it, i highly recommend you to check this place out.“

“I sent in a request via their online regarding what I wanted done and to see if they could refer me to an artist who would be best. I received a quick response and was setup with George. I scheduled an appointment quickly with George to meet in person to see the artwork I wanted, review any alterations, discuss size, and pricing. When reviewing the schedule he was pretty booked but he had availability the following day (Saturday night) and the following week. Estimated time was around 3 hours. I booked for the next day. Upon arrival George had be fill out the waivers and review the stensile and sizing everything was great. It was only my second tattoo but I felt at ease as I knew George had plenty of experience. We did go a bit longer than estimated but nothing felt rushed. George was focused and thoughtful given the meaning behind the artwork. I think I will be visiting George again for my next piece. Vibe in the shop was great. I didn't talk much but enjoyed listening to the convos between artists etc.“

Me and my best friend went there, he was able to finish 3 tattoos total for us in a reasonable time, at reasonable prices, made cleanliness a priority, and he took us as walk-ins.
