It's very difficult to find a dental office that is the right fit for the whole family. This was especially true where we live. I was referred to Dr. Funada's office by a few friends. I was reluctant at first because of the distance from our home. But let me tell you, the 1+ hour drive is totally worth it! I'd honestly drive farther for the quality of care my whole family receives here. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The office is bright, modern and welcoming. I am pleased that Dr. Funada has awesome Dental Hygienists working for him! Our previous Dentist did the cleaning herself, which to be honest, didn't feel as clean as it should have been. Here's a tip, ask to have Amy as your Dental Hygienist. She knows her stuff! She is so friendly and gets the cleaning done right. She's just overall awesome! Even if you don't get Amy, the rest of the team is just as awesome! Dr. Funada himself is very friendly, funny and knowledgeable. He's able to answer any concerns we have about our teeth. You can tell he cares about his patients. One thing I love about him is that he takes the time to make small talk before getting down to business. That definitely helps me feel comfortable and at ease. If you're having difficulty choosing a dental office, look no further! I highly recommend Dr. Funada and his team! It's like we're family here!

I've been going to Dr. Funada's office for 1.5 years since we moved to El Dorado Hills. Great dentist. Very patient and clear. I've had a crown and he was very careful with it. No issues at all. My hygienist is Amy and she is great. Personable, professional. She definitely knows her stuff. I talked with her about problems with flossing since my arthritis is getting bad. She recommended an waterpik and it's been great. Definitely recommend going here!

I went to Dean Funada, General and Cosmetic Dentistry today for the first time. My experience was five stars! From the moment Barbara took me back for X-rays and chatted like we were good friends, to meeting Dean Funada. The doctor is very easy to talk with, very personable and very professional. All the attributes I look for in a dentist for me. Amy was my hygienist and she was kind, warm and great at her job. The front desk was welcoming and friendly when I came in and Kailey was really sweet about scheduling and accepting payment. I couldn't have asked for a better all -around experience. The office is clean and bright modern and comfortable. So comfortable I didn't notice any Muzak blaring songs from the 90's or the smell of plug-ins trying to mask smells. I think I've found my new dentist!!!
