Maybe I got lucky going on a Wednesday at 2pm, but this place was surprisingly charming! Bay Beauty Spa is currently closed for construction so I decided to try the 30min/30min full body and foot reflexology combo here ($50) and it was good!! I also like that they have a bigger parking lot.
I was the only person there, it being a weekday, so it was very peaceful/calming. The lady I had (Linda?) was also good at communicating to ask if I was comfortable as well. I love that they massage your head/face/scalp too (Bay Beauty Spa doesn't anymore for the foot combos, they say you have to get a full body massage for head massages ?)
The environment is very good, but the master's skills need to be improved, and the acupuncture points are not perfect. Everything else is okay. The mandatory tipping part is very uncomfortable, especially at the end when the chef and the person at the counter will keep staring at you, asking directly or even giving you a bad look if you don't give more than ten yuan. What is confusing is that we have already paid the service fee for the massage, so why is it "required" and "extra" to tip? Especially the minimum amount required is ten yuan, which means the tip starts at 25%? Is it really reasonable to ask for a tip of at least 25% without... read full review

I told her no, this is for me. Then she asked, "What about him?" I told her ask him. I'm providing a top for the services I received. Then I told my hu6and he went to tip his masseuse as well. I really HATE when people ask for TIPS. TIPS are a bonus not a requirement. That needs to STOP. Other than that, I would... read full review
