I came along with my father-in-law to sign the paperwork for his final arrangements. I expecting are hard sell, but the staff pushed him towards cheaper options that were best aligned with his wishes.Thanks Darren, really appreciate your willingness make sure my father-in-law understood that the more expensive options were not what he actually wanted.
Great view of the bay area and golden gate bridge. Famous Chinese scholar Tsi-an Hsia（夏濟安, 1916-1965）was buried here in the northernmost zone named Acacia. If you want to find his grave, drive to the top of the Acacia zone, face the sea and look for the leftmost tree of the lawn in front of you. His grave is four or five rows directly under that tree. I drive across the country from New England to pay tribute to him, whose writing used to give me so much inspiration.
My mom suddenly passed in August and so I had her funeral service here. Taryn was amazing in helping me navigate what the next steps were and made sure that we went at my own pace. The day of the funeral, she made sure everything was perfect, made sure my mother looked nice and was there for us throughout the whole service. Thank you Taryn for being amazing and so kind hearted. I would have given this place 5 stars; however, an employee there named Bruce left a bitter taste in my mouth. Being young and having a parent pass away unexpectedly is hard.
