“I hired Ed to install a thermostat that I thought was broken. His communication was very responsive and he was available on short notice. He arrived wearing a mask. He spent quite some time trouble shooting the issue, explaining what he was doing. At the end of the process the problem was not the thermostat after all but rather a broken screw-in fuse. “Seb was our go-to handy person for every problem for years. He was our first line of defense for plumbing, pest control, home projects, lighting fixtures, picture hanging, wallpapering, small repairs -- you name it, he could tackle it, fix it, or tell you honestly that you needed a specialist. Even for smaller projects like hanging a gallery wall, he was incredibly detail oriented (measuring everything precisely, taking great care in the end product) and he was extra careful of my two young children at home, taking additional safety precautions (e.g., thinking about little fingers or climbing children) without me asking. He _always_ cleaned up after himself, which I felt was a nice touch (he didn't leave dust or dirt on the ground after a project, which other repair people sometimes would) and I could trust him in my home without supervising. He's an all around good person, who takes pride in his work and enjoys working with people. Now that we've moved out of the city, I'm going to really miss my go-to handyman!“
