Jax was extremely kind and knowledgeable in helping me determine which parts would work best for my project, she was very present and really listened to exactly what I was looking for and took her time time help me figure out the best solution. I had the pleasure of working with Jax at J W Lumber in La Mesa, and I couldn't be more impressed with the service I received. Jax, a lovely young lady, was incredibly patient and friendly, helping me pick out the perfect stain over several visits. She went above and beyond to find the ideal color, Sable in Transparent, for my project. Her dedication and attention to detail made the process so much easier for someone like me, who knows nothing about staining. The entire crew at the La Mesa location is exceptionally kind and attentive, always ready to assist as soon as I walk in. Highly recommend J W Lumber for their outstanding service! Five stars!

The entire process working with J&W Lumber has been ideal. In the process of planning to build a Trex deck, we were getting prices on materials, and J&W beat the other stores. Once we were ready to purchase, they helped model the design to confirm that we had everything we needed, and the materials were delivered the same week. Omar and Vincent in office were both incredibly helpful in providing guidance and answering questions, and the delivery man took extreme care to place a lot of materials in a small driveway without any damage. We got high-quality lumber and composite decking while supporting a local business with great employees. Could not recommend more.
