Love, love, LOVEEEEEE THIS SALON! Nyeisha is not only amazing at what she does, she is extremely friendly. She treats new clients as well as she treats regulars. I used to have to go all the way to SF for a beautician that can do my hair the way I want, but not anymore. I was living in Dublin a few years ago and looking for a new beautician that was closer to me and happened to find this gem of a salon and now I live in north San Jose and it is more than worth the drive to go to see Nyeisha. Ignore any negative reviews. I find in life sometimes people think they deserve respect when they haven't been respectful. I have had the best experience at orchid salon. Nyeisha is on time, she has excellent knowledge about hair care and how to keep hair healthy. She is always very professional and gives me feedback about my hair each time I go. I naturally have very fine thin hair. I've had challenges with keeping it full, long and healthy my whole life. Since I've been going to Nyeisha for the past year my hair has been fuller, longer and healthier than it's ever been. She also gives an excellent cut. Visited Orchid to get my hair done. The place is seriously a vibe, great company, good times, good laughs and I left feeling confident with my hair whipped to the God's! For those looking for a REAL hair stylist that does all the things including an OUTSTANDING shampoo. GO THERE!! It's sad reading prior reviews that honestly sound like a problem that unfortunately most black women face and that's the expectation of a song and dance for one's business.
