Also needed to re-soil and put a new handrail in backyard and cleaned up my rock wall and redesigned the sprinkler system. Juan and Michael were awesome. “We worked with Landscape Experts Inc (LEI) to revitalize our wild yard, cutting back swaths of overgrowth and transforming it with a variety of beautiful California native plants and nine fruit trees. They also carved out a lovely hillside with custom stairs, a spacious terrace, and game trails perfect for enjoying the view. LEI works with YesPlease.Garden (YPG) who managed the design process and Fresh Coat Restoration who completed the new fence. The partnerships were well integrated and it felt like working with a single team. See my Google Maps review for more on YPG. We are very happy with our project and would recommend LEI because they were professional, courteous, reliable, and provided clear and upfront pricing. Documenting decisions in writing proved helpful for keeping everyone on the same page. Any problems we had were resolved fairly, such as correcting the direction of our stairs. Aaron is a man of his word but prefers to conduct most of his business through texting. We first contacted LEI and they promptly scheduled a time to visit our property with YPG to see what was possible within the budget we set out. We completed the design with YPG and LEI scheduled a time for the project demolition. A later approximate time for planting was set, but that was dependent on the availability of the various plants we had selected. Everything scoped in the design was completed within the budget and any add-ons we later requested were priced separately and fairly.“

“Josue and his guys were awesome! They worked fast and the quality of their work was great. Completely replaced all irrigation and replaced a bunch of trees and plants. Josue spent 2 hours with me at the nursery helping me pick out the plants and trees for each of the areas. They replaced the soil in the locations that the plants were not thriving and added new mulch. They also removed and added all new electrical wiring throughout and were very flexible waiting for the new lights to come in. Would highly recommend them!“

“AG & Associates remodeled both my front and back yards in the spring and we have been thoroughly enjoying both spaces this past summer. I am extremely pleased with their craftsmanship, quality of work, and attention to detail. Their crews are experienced, friendly, and thorough and did a great job of communicating the work being done at each stage of the project. I enthusiastically recommend them for anyone looking to beautify their home.I started working with their designer to draft detailed plans that captured my vision for each area. He has decades of experience and provided excellent advice on landscaping, hardscape materials, and city ordinances. He showed me completed projects of his other clients and recommended trusted vendors and brands. After the plans were completed and materials selected, AG began the removal of all the existing concrete and landscaping. Next, the drainage was installed and grading completed. The crews worked fast and completed this phase smoothly.I was also working with two other contractors to refinish my existing pool and install an adjustable, louvred patio cover and we all worked together to coordinate efforts and ensure proper execution. The pavers and the hardscape in the front yard were completed first with only the landscaping remaining. The pavers, outdoor kitchen, fireplace, patio cover, and pool refinishing were all done next. Finally, the landscaping in the front and back were completed. After living with the yard for a few months, I am very pleased with the all of the design elements and construction details that were chosen. For example, we decided to install the hot tub in a sunken concrete vault with drainage for easy entry/exit and we are very happy with it. “My crawl space and basement were flooding from all the heavy rain, I did not have the $$ to afford to pay someone to correct the problem. The owner agreed to offer consultation services to me. He came to my house on multiple occasions and assessed the house and offered his advise. When it was all said and done, he did not charge me a thing. Just good people helping people in need, we need more people like them in the world!“

“As recommended by our neighbor, we contacted Larry and his company, Eastrock Landscape, for an estimate. Larry replied almost immediately and came over to view the work needed. He took the time to walk through all the areas needing work. Within days, Larry produced an estimate which we agreed upon. Eastrock Landscape was able to start the work days later. The crew arrived each day on time and they finished the work in five business days. Larry would come out to check on the work and to insure it was being done accordingly. Lol, Larry was part of the crew as he had to make several trips to tow and drop off trailers of gravel and soil. The crew worked efficiently and the foreman stayed on top of the communication during entire process. They cleaned up at the end of each day. The completed work is exactly what we wanted. “I've never had such a good experience working with a contractor. We did both our back yard and our front yard with Olwin Landscape. From the beginning, it was clear Dave and his team were incredibly experienced and accommodating. They communicated regularly, the crew was efficient and hard working, and the team would offer suggestions for designs and details whenever I was stuck (which was often). We loved Dave and team so much after our backyard project, we asked them to come back and do our front yard! Both turned out beautifully and we get so many compliments. I've had friends use other contractors who quoted a slightly lower price and they always have issues and regret not using Olwin. “I was referred to Mr. Khang Le of First Choice Landscape by the designer that created my landscape plan, who said he did high-quality work and was reasonably priced. She was right! We couldn't be happier with the new landscaping in our backyard and side yard. Although our space is not super large, the plan was quite complex, including removing a sidewalk and adding several "dry creek bed" areas with 3 different kinds of rock, 3 berms with mulch and plants, drip irrigation, lighting, and a pondless fountain. I really wanted a natural look, and Mr. Le got what I was trying to achieve. When my dreams were a bit bigger than my budget, Mr. Le collaborated with me to suggest ways of reducing cost without compromising the look I was going for. We eliminated some low walls, used a paver kit instead of more labor-intensive pavers, and I ordered the lights from the manufacturer's website. I was not the easiest client. I had been planning the project for more than a year and had never hired anyone to do this kind of work before, so I was stressed out about it all turning out as I had envisioned. Mr. Le would say, "Don't worry," and he was right, I needn't have worried. He has 3 decades of experience to draw on and has a great eye for design. He implemented the plan flawlessly and with attention to detail, often getting out his tape measure to be sure things were properly placed. He didn't cut corners where others might have. For example, he put weed barrier landscape fabric under the entire yard. Mr. Le is a really hard worker who goes the extra mile to please the client. When my plan called for a hard-to-find tree, he went to great lengths to find a grower that had it. When the paver kit didn't fit together as precisely as he wanted, he cut some of the pavers himself for a better fit. He is punctual, honest, and reliable. Now that our backyard has been transformed into the beautiful, peaceful space I had dreamed of, I'm eyeing our front yard and would definitely hire Mr. Le for future projects.“

“Rick was very professional and did a great job on our yard. We had some plans drawn up by another designer and submitted them to Rick. He looked them over and said there were far too many plants on the design. He revamped the plans and saved us thousands of dollars in plants that were not needed. Two years later, not one issue with the sprinklers, plants or any workmanship. Rick was hands on and attentive. We are really happy with the results,“

Super nice crew, easy to communicate with and they listen to us when we have feedback on things that we would like done a bit differently than the plan shows. The scope included both soft scaping for plants and hard scaping for walkways and patio area. Frans was our principle contact and he has a fantastic knowledge of plants and helped select the right plants to place according to our liking and appropriate to the sun, soil, and environmental conditions. Also a key point is that they had their team on the job every day from the day-one start to the end of the job with no gaps or delays. “We needed shared fence built because the posts on the existing had cracked. We called for an estimate and the following day Mario was out to give us a quote. He was professional and personable. He took the time to speak with our neighbors and explained our options. We agreed on using steel posts. Mario made what could have been awkward into a fun amicable agreement. The crew arrived on time and the tear down and new fence were done by 2:30. They are quick and accurate, building the fence with precision. It looks magnificent!
