Excellent workmanship from Joe, I drive about 40 minutes to get here as I have moved quite far away but I want to support this business in my own small way.
Joe has worked on cycling clothing, hiking packs, exercise gear etc over the years and has ALWAYS done an excellent job that I couldn't be more pleased with.
So far have taken two pairs of shoes for repair and pants for alteration. I've been happy with the work done. Received items in a decent amount of time and price isn't bad.
was desperate to find someone to stretch out brand new boots i ordered online for a weekend event on a Wednesday...the zipper wouldn't even go halfway up my calves...i find Joe at DSR.. and call to let him know my issue, and how fast i needed them done (before friday) he was honest about how much a boot could be stretched... which would not have been enough, and then offered solutions.. he said just come in now and let's see... luckily he said he'd have some materials on hand he could use to add extra leather on the calf to fit! although it was not the exact color (bone white) he said he could paint it to match as close as possible... WHO KNEW you could do that?!? all those boots i returned because they didn't fit my calves..anyways joe was quick and efficient and kept in touch with his progress... And by thursday afternoon he was done! the boot came out as good as they could get w such last minute timing, and was beyond satisfied with how well they look and fitIn regards to his previous reviews regarding his attentiveness...i feel like if you let him know a precise time and give clarity of what exactly needs to be done with him you'll get exactly what you need.Thanks joe!
