We spoke to a gentleman by the name of Jose, whom was extremely helpful. He even created a sample centerpiece arrangement in order to help me with my decision. The store might not be as nice as others, but if you're shopping for flowers in this area than you know you're not in Beverly Hills. Tip: Se habla only español so that may be inconvenient. In the middle of the flower district in LA (a bit too close to skid row for my normal comfort) but we fell upon this wonderful shop while parking in the $10 parking lot next door. We passed by it walking to brunch and all the beautiful and happy plants called us in. Omg!!! Every plant in here was lush, and green and so full of life! Literally looking around and everyone was thriving! The selection was great, quality and life was amazing and prices were icing on the cake! I didn't see any rare or hard to fond plants, but everything they had is great fpr any plant parent. To find a spot that doesn't price gouge was the best. I got a beautiful huge and full neon pothos for $16 and a big donkey tail for $5! The selection of orchids was unmatched! And the blooms were so beautiful! Ranging from $15-$30 and even had deep colored dyed orchids. I was so impressed with their selections, they also carry really well priced pottery and pots. Anytime I am around I will be popping in! “Came to downtown LA looking for a florist for my brother's engagement party. After walking around the flower district, I found Paraiso to be most trust worthy with a reasonable price tag. They had the cheapest price for centerpieces despite being a bit pricier on the garland side. But most importantly, they were also able to do delivery and set up for us - which was huge since it didn't seem like many places in the flower district offered it. Communication at some point was a bit challenging since I don't speak much spanish, but everything ended up working out perfectly. We had to add a few more orders last minute and they were able to accommodate no problem. We had the party probably on the hottest day in June, but I was pleasantly surprised that all the flowers kept beautifully and did not wilt during the event. The centerpieces actually lasted for more than a week since they were well-hydrated. This was honestly the cherry on top and why I would go with Paraiso again if I have any floral needs for my next event.“
