“FANTASTIC course. I had never ridden anything on two wheels besides a bike and was super nervous to start but this class was so so good. The two instructors Brian and Jennifer were amazzzzingggg. Super knowledgeable, very experienced, great at conveying instruction, extremely good teachers. They did a perfect job at getting people started who have never stepped foot on a motorcycle. I never in a million years thought I'd be able to ride and though I still have a long way to go, I feel confident that I can get better after the basic skills that they taught me. They never once made me feel stupid or embarrassed, and were so encouraging but gave good constructive criticism. “HANDS DOWN, the absolute best trucking school in Southern California. There's no other school that compares. Harbor is the only school that offers a ONE on ONE program, so there's no other students to take away from your training. Martin is great about working with your schedule. I worked full time 5 days a week 12 hour shifts and Martin made it happen. You must show up with your CDL permit first, so study and take the DMV written tests before you attend training. You will get 2 hours each training day of seat time in the cone exercises, road time and pre-trip inspection training with manual transmission (No Automatics, so no restrictions on your license) with not another student in sight, just YOU. You will be so prepared for the DMV test it's not even funny. Not only does Harbor teach you how to pass the DMV skills test, but they teach you how to be a great driver and you will appear to be an experienced driver to any employer. I took my HAZMAT, Tanker, Doubles/Triples tests when I got my permit before attending Harbor. Shout out to Martin, Guillermo and Luis for everything. They are awesome teachers, THE BEST. Don't waste your time and money at any other school with 20 students in a class waiting to get seat time. You might get 5 or 10 minutes in the drivers seat with these other schools because of so many students in each class instead of 2 hours straight in the seat with Harbor. Go with Harbor's 40 hour ONE on ONE program (One Student, One Instructor). It's a guaranteed Class A commercial license.“

“Today was my last in-car driving lesson with Kanor Driving School! I couldn't have asked for a better school and instructor. I signed up for 5 lessons, 2 hours each. I spread them out to have them weekly, and I did them all with the same instructor, Rebecca! She was always professional, encouraging, and reassuring! Each time we had our lesson she made sure to ask if I had any questions and reminded me of things I would forget. “It is terrifying when thinking about letting your baby go off in a car with some random stranger so they can teach them how to drive. My daughter's instructor was professional, punctual and very patient. He was a seasoned driver and arrived in different cars each time so it was great that she got to drive in different types of vehicles. My daughter said her instructor made her feel comfortable and she passed her driving test at the DMV with only missing 2 points!“

She was picked up dropped off from her grandmas home or our depending where she chose that day. This was a great help and she got it fast and got her license quick. “I’ve put aside the 6 hours with an instructor because of school and during the pandemic I’ve figured that I should get it done. (& my permit is expiring in a couple of months) I called numerous driving instructors in hopes of completing the 6 hours and Trans Oceans Driving School is the place where I felt most comfortable in doing so. My instructor, Sarah, was kind, patient, and understanding. And although there was somewhat of a language barrier because she only spoke Mandarin, she still tried striking up conversations and ultimately was in it to help her students succeed. There were many times where she asked if I needed a water break or anything really. After having multiple negative encounters with past instructors (rudeness, don’t text back, very high pricing, forgot to pick me up...) and finally contacting Sarah from Trans Ocean is surreal. In addition to all the positives, pricing is the lowest out of all the other instructors that I have worked with which is a huge +. Props to Sarah, definitely recommend if you want to learn how to drive & get those hours completed!“

“Every time I've had to speak to Jacky at the office, she's had a bad attitude speaking to me and I don't know what her problem is. I used to live in Whittier and when I moved to Hollywood and tried rescheduling my driving lesson, she just kept saying "we don't service that area" instead of just telling me from the beginning what areas they do service. One day I called while I was at work to reschedule my lesson and she asked me what my permit number was and I asked, "don't you have that information already? I've already taken a lesson with you guys." and she just ignored me and said "what's your permit number?" to which I said "I don't have it on me at the moment" and so she said to call her back when I do have it. I ended up calling back but spoke to a man instead and he didn't even ask me for my permit number and he was friendly and helped me reschedule. Then I called to request a change in my pickup and drop off location and Jacky answered the phone. I told her that I was supposed to get picked up from Pico Rivera but I want to change the pickup and drop off to Whittier. She said I'm supposed to get picked up from Pico Rivera which was what I literally just said and finally she changed it for me. Overall, I have enjoyed my lessons with Cindy, she's very attentive and patient. It's just a pain having to talk to Jacky on the phone and it makes me not want to deal with this business again just because of her.“
