I stopped going to Dr. Lucero because of the wait time. As patients our time is important, too. We rearrange our schedule and take time off work to go to the Doctor. I have waited over two hours, only to be told by staff at that point, that the doctor "decided" not to come in today. One day I was put in an exam room (after waiting in the waiting room) and I could hear them getting ready to close the office. I actually went out and asked about my appointment and was told the doctor was not going to be in. WHAT? I have high blood pressure and after an extended wait one day, when I actually did get to see the doctor, she freaked because my blood pressure was TOO high. Hmmm....Did it ever occur to her that my blood pressure was elevated because of the wait time? I now go to Doctor Alan Frischer and he is absolutely wonderful. His bed side manner is absolutely top notch. With all the bad reviews, I don't really know how Dr. Lucero gets away with this. Maybe no one has reported her to the medical board.

My last appointment with the doctor was maybe two weeks ago or after New Year's. Anyway, my appointment was 2:30 PM and I had a question about my period. I noticed that no one was the receptionist desk. We waited for about 10-20 min and another nurse informed us that the doctor was unavailable! Are you serious?! That was maybe my 3rd visit and this is most likely my last visit!! I will never come back! Is this how a doctor treats her patients? With unnecessary waiting hours (1-2 hours). The fee to see the doctor is $20-$30. It's so expensive!!

Do you want a Dr. that takes the time and listens to you, advises you, and helps you? Or do you want a Dr. that just moves quickly from patient to patient? You can't have it both ways. I'd go with the former, Dr. Lucero.
