My daughter was welcomed well given surgery 30 fibroids removed by excellent Dr Artanos. Yet she was so ready to leave they took care of her well till one nurse decided she didn't like her n didn't care for her properly shot serum I. Her arm instead of vein. Then didn't want to accept her telling her it was unbearable also the supervisor neither came in to check after being told just was lack of concern in that area. Other than that the surgeon and surgery was successful

My sister went to the emergency room at Kaiser in Downey yesterday around 9:45 PM because she was in a lot of pain. A kind-hearted Hispanic security guard on duty at that time gently placed her in a wheelchair and stayed by her side until she checked in. Estella, the nurse who took care of her, was truly amazing. Her kindness, helpfulness, and patience made a difficult situation so much more bearable. I am deeply grateful for their warmth and exceptional service. Thank you so much Estella and the man working security, you guys are truly amazing.

I recently went to the ER via ambulance. It was an urgent matter so I was triaged and taken to a room right away. This was my 3rd ER visit in the past year or so for the same issue. Each visit I have received excellent care. For this recent visit I would like to acknowledge Dr. Jared Marshall who was very kind and thorough in his care. He asked if I was comfortable with the plan and genuinely seemed to care for my health needs. I left the ER feeling better and confident knowing I received great care at KP Downey ER. I have seen posts with complaints about wait times, etc. I work in healthcare so understand that short staffing is an ongoing challenge at most healthcare... read full review
