I was looking for a contractor that cares, listens, has a fantastic crew and stands by their work and came in at a fair price. This sounds impossible? well it isn't! Donny and his crew chief Vidal are all about getting the job done right. This is not my first renovation we have undertook. I have renovated over 3 homes in different states and countries and I have never in the end been happy with the contractors I hired to design and complete the work. D & D installation is the first contractor that I have walked away at the end, saying I would definitely use them again and for sure recommend them to any friend looking to renovate their home, whether it be a small or large job like the one we undertook. I think the biggest take away for me was that Donny was very communicative, letting us know every step of the way any of the pitfalls and challenges that they encountered. Vidal is a diamond in the rough! thank you Donny for putting him in charge of the project.

Our experience was not as good as expected. Project started ok but took much longer than contracted, many missed work days, and quality deteriorated as job progressed. Communication declined.

We hired D&D based on being licensed, the number of years of service in the area and recommendations but found things seem to have changed. Our experience was not as good as others have posted. No major construction was contracted - just minor electrical, popcorn removal, ceiling re-surface, wall painting, replacing carpet with laminated wood flooring and fireplace brick re-surfaced with stacked stone. Contract was for a 3-4 week job, but it took over 10 weeks! Project started ok, original crew was professional, on time, etc. but after several weeks, things deteriorated - different workers came, some came late or missed days altogether and quality of work declined. Communication decreased. So we could not recommend D & D.
