Aulds Cabinets

Dave Auld of Aulds Cabinets was recommended to me by a local contractor whom I really trust. I live in a small cottage and needed to make the most of my laundry room space. I contacted Dave, talked to him about what I was hoping to do (create a 12"-deep, 5 foot wide open shelving area for storing small kitchen appliance and platters, as well as creating a desk space that could also fit my dogs' kennel underneath it but leave plenty of leg space for me, and enclose my front-load washer and dryer so I could fold clothes on top. He sketched exactly what I had envisioned, measured it all out, gave me a very fair price and installed it just a few weeks later. I now LOVE my laundry room, if you could ever say that about such a utilitarian space. Makes me happy to put things away in the shelves, work at the desk on my laptop, and even fold clothes - and that's saying so eth! Dave Auld, who is the shop owner, is a local businessman who lives in the community and has been there many years. I found him to be a true craftsman and a gentleman who was a pleasure to work with and provided work product of excellent quality. I highly recommend his services for kitchen, bath, and laundry cabinets!

Wow! They do great work. We had cabinet drawers that were a couple inches too wide to fit our new stove at our cabin in Arnold. He shortened them seamlessly. You cannot tell there was anything done to them. Great craftsmanship and a reputable business.

Dave Auld has recently completed a kitchen for us. I am over the moon with it. This is my experience with Dave: Firstly, after having got quotes at various box stores for a kitchen remodel which we had not been able to afford (the ones we liked anyway!) we never dreamed we could afford to go custom. Dave's quotes were very competitive. He helped us put together the perfect kitchen, guiding us through wood, style, layout selections. Then a timeline was put together and Dave worked exactly to the schedule and always kept us updated. The installation went great. Quick and no fuss to us. Beautiful workmanship, major attention to detail, the kitchen shows that a real sense of pride was taken in each piece. Plus we had great after sales customer service. Getting a new kitchen was, for us, a once in a lifetime experience. Dave - and Daisy, his faithful assistant - made it a positive, stress free one; with a beautiful outcome too. Did I mention how amazing my new kitchen looks?
