    I recommend taekwondo for kids with ADHD or ASD. My son is both. Because he needs individual attention team sports or activities don't work well for him. Parents and kids are mean and will bully him because he needs more time to learn. So martial arts let's him be in a group activity but compete at his own speed.He has been attending this center for a year. At first I was worried because it's a lot of yelling, and my son has a speech impediment. The yelling is not abuse.     The Coach is good with kids. You can choose whatever time is convenient for you. I asked a couple of friends and their kids have been studying taekwondo in different schools. They all said the same thing if your kids go to testing that everyone will pass no matter which school you are in. All the schools are the same, they charge for testing. Some schools Have promotions so they provide free uniforms. Every school will go to the same competitions. If you transfer from one school to another you might need to restart some level if you are not a black belt. They increased the annual Fee to around 1800 (can't remember the exact number) dollars.     We liked the class, the teaching of discipline, perseverance and dedication. The very respectful and dedicated master brings out the best in his students. the problem is the parents who are always talking during class and with cell phones with ringing. they bring small children and they don't make them keep quiet and respect that there are students practicing.
