Home sweet home nestled in the beautiful hills of Diamond Bar!! Private and exclusive 24 hour guard gated community comprising 980 homes (approx.) and 2 separate entrances. Upon entering, the left lane is reserved for guests/visitors, and the right hand lane is reserved for residents with registered transponders. If you're a guest & driving the car, bring your driver's license!!!The guards will not clear you without a valid & current one. Drive within the speed limit of 25 mph and be sure to stop at all stop signs. The guards on patrol do monitor the streets and camp out with radars, so be aware!!! They are unafraid to issue citations with fines. I've lost count as to how many I've received over the years!! Many generations of my family have been living in 'The Country Estates' since the 1980's, so I've seen the community transform and evolve through the decades. I'd say it's the most desirable community in the city of Diamond Bar.
Hello long time resident 40 Years Yes things have changed Some are not good. The Security does a Wonderful Job Ever Day if you think different then Quit your job and become a security guard at a place like this. Thanks each one of you James
I've literally lived here my whole life. I would've given them 5 stars because I love living in this community & I've never really personally encountered a major problem with them. However, I do have a problem that they only allow two free transponders per residence. It used to be free for every car, but they now charge an additional $35 per car in each household, which doesn't make sense to me as I'm a residence & I'm sure most families living here would have more than two cars in their households. It's like I have to pay to be able to go home - we pay hoa fees every month; the transponders should be covered with that fee. Other than that, the security guards are pretty friendly here - some of them have actually recognized me when I'm pulling up to the gate so they'll facilitate my entry by leaving it open. I've also had them notify me when their are police parked in the streets when I arrive home late at night. They always pick up me call pretty fast & are willing to assist in whatever I need.
