“I've been without AC since May 2024 dealing with AHS warranty and, it hasn't been easy without AC through this hot summer.<br><br>I'd like to 1st thank Joyce who was always so kind, always willing to help and gave me some great advice that finally helped me resolve a 4 month issue regarding 1 part the warranty company said they couldn't find. Once Joyce was given approval by AHS, Joyce had already located the part and scheduled an appointment for installation within a few days.Thank you Joyce you are my angel of the month.<br><br>I'd also like to give Kudos to the Alpha male team who came out to replace and fix my AC today. Thank you Vince, Louis and Tony...you all rock like there is no tomorrow.<br>I appreciate your friendly demeanor, your professionalism and explaining everything to me even if I may not have totally understood all the technical stuff...lol. “I can’t say enough good things about Mel’s Hearing and Air. I was at a point where I thought I couldn’t trust businesses anymore because of the issues I have had, but not with Mel’s. They are trustworthy and actually care about helping people and go the extra mile in regards to customer service that I haven’t experienced in a long time. I had been having issues with my AC since purchasing the house and even managed to get the full unit replaced through my home warranty during the second year. However, this summer, the same issues started up. I had initially called Decker Bros the come out since they did the replacement. However, my experience with them was terrible. Not being honest, not being able to get a straight answer about the problem, the techs not running any real tests on the unit, the run around when calling the office, the wrong quote, and ultimately, a recommendation to have the entire unit replaced despite the fact that I just had it replaced (with a $4K price tag). I finally called around for a second quote and got ahold of Mel’s. COMPLETELY different experience right off the bat. The receptionist was super helpful and supportive and actually forwarded me straight to their technician, Robert, who was very knowledgeable and offered to come out and take a look right away. He immediately noticed some issues the other company hadn’t even noticed or suggested. Issues he offered to remedy on the spot that didn’t involve a huge price tag. He also offered to follow up to ensure there were no other leaks or issues with how the unit was performing. Overall, the issues I was having are more to do with the older home I own and the size of the original unit installed (and unfortunately replaced by the warranty like for like), as well as much warmer weather than when this house was originally built. So, ends up, don’t need a replacement and that the unit is working fine. In the future, I may need to do some upgrades if I want cooler temperatures in the home during a triple digit day, but at the end of the day, I couldn’t think Mel’s and Robert enough. They were patient throughout this entire process, explained everything to me, worked with me, and were honest, and hardworking. I will be going to them for all my future AC needs and would highly recommend them to anyone else who wants a knowledgeable, hardworking, and honest/trustworthy business. Thank you.“

After moving into my home where some shady HVAC work was previously done (or not), Patrick came and fixed the furnace, and Alfred and his team came and cleaned up the shoddy work and gave me a working duct system and attic insulation. Professional and kind, the work was done cleanly and with great respect to property and home. They also gave me some "watch-outs" to make sure I was aware of some things that needed to be addressed outside of their scope of work. If that's not top-tier work and service, I don't know what is.
