“There are times in life, that many certainly experienced during the pandemic, if not before, when a company is its people. I am new to Comfort Check Heating & Air. I had been an excellent customer for more than two decades with another reputed company. My semi-annual spring maintenance had just been completed. All was thought well.

After a succession of calls that something was seriously wrong with my AC unit a few weeks later, I arrived home one late, hot afternoon to my animals (one a senior in hospice) suffering in a 96º house. The thermostat had been set for 82º when I left to go to Costco. Over the next 24 hours, I was told that someone at my current HVAC company "might" be calling me that day, yet they could not be sure. I was on "standby," even for just a phone call. The direness of my situation didn't matter.

So, I called Comfort Check. Laura thoughtfully received my call and concerns, and arranged for a repair check that afternoon. I was under no obligation to purchase a new unit. This was my first awareness that another AC company could do a diagnostic for me.

The compressor had died. Comfort Check was able to do a temporary fix that provided AC for a few days. I was not charged, because after several compassionate, caring, skillful conversations, I purchased a new unit from Comfort Check. Gustavo even suggested that Laura clear that Friday in order to install my new unit.

There are certain unforgettable interactions in life, in the positive always to do with people living from their hearts. Comfort Check is a special company, whose PEOPLE will absolutely bend over backwards to take care of its customers, especially those who care about each of them, as I do. I am grateful for the years with my previous company that were good and memorable.This summer, they expanded beyond my home's needs.

We had an old system that was nearing 28 years old that we had to cut power and gas to due to a faulty valve and other failing components.
