It is so hard to get a prescription. It is associated with unnecessary services and exams which are not covered by insurance. The front desk really treated the customer in a very mean way. Totally do not understand what is wrong with their services. Just a signature on the prescription can torture you so many times. From making the appointment to get my prescription, two months has been passed. Still waiting for a signed signature! Doctor Busby, if you see this, ask your front desk what happened and get a better front desk who can honor or at least respect your customers please!
Dr.Busby is a bit creepy and has an "odd sense of humor" as he said himself. He is definitely old school and thinks touching your knee a bit is normal behavior. I went here because I just needed a quick eye exam to get contacts. It was weird but bearable. All the staff is a bit weird and unprofessional and seem to not know what's going on. They spelled my name wrong multiple times on the sheet and didn't even correct some of it. I finally came to the appt where i purchase my contacts. I wait 2 weeks and no one every called me for an upstate when they said it'd take a week. I call and they said oh they just came in right now. I was like okay how long are you open? & she replied "5:30, but can you come before then" like ok ig lol. I go over there they had me a SINGLE one week pack. I'm like this is not 3 month worth's of single wear contacts. She proceeded to tell me there's more in there... I opened it n was like No. She goes oh sorry we'll order them in again ig they didn't order them... She tells me it'll take a week, and i told them to PLEASE call me. More than a week has gone by and no call. I called and they're so unhelpful and remain clueless about my contacts. I ask for an update now it's been about a month with no contacts while i have already PAID IN FULL. She was all "we still don't have them, but your chart is out. So i'll ask." I'm like "ok PLEASE call me with an update then?" She still hasn't called back. This place is wack asf and weird Do not come here. TLDR: Dude himself is off putting, staff sucks, never call you first. Slow and bad service
Horrible customer service for being loyal customers for over 15 years. Simply asked for a prescription to be sent over to Costco so my son could get prescription sunglasses and was denied due to the prescription being outdated by just a few days. I asked for an exception and was told no. From the get-go, the receptionist was rude and acted like she was doing me a favor in my simple request. Not only was my request denied but they didn't even have any appointments for an eye exam till April to try and remedy the slightly outdated prescription. I understand they may have some rules to abide by but to have some decency and consideration for the situation would have gone a lot further. Dr. Busby needs to reevaluate his front desk employees as they do paint a picture of the business in general and this picture was not a good one. Not continuing as a customer any longer!
