After soliciting multiple bids, Patrick stood out right away - he took the time to do a Zoom call to understand my property and my goals instead of just emailing a quote. Once I moved forward, Jason was assigned as my project manager and kept me informed every step of the way. The install crew was on-time, super efficient, and meticulous - clearly professionals who also understand roofing. They were careful about panel/battery placement and stud alignment, and at the end they even painted all the new conduits to match our house colors. I had a solar system installed by Northstar Solar this past winter, and I am thoroughly impressed with their service. I obtained several bids from different companies, Northstar Solar's bid stood out as very competitive and comprehensive.
They installed REC solar panels and Tesla Powerwall 3 batteries at my home. While the sales quote was brief, the system design, and permit filing were all done meticulously. The entire installation process was seamless. From the initial consultation with Patrick in sales, a virtual meeting with the Company Owner Ryan, to the clear communications from Office Manager Dani, everything was handled professionally... read full review

Had the system for over a year now and was glad they were able to get everything submitted by NEM2 deadline during a crazy busy time. The installation was professional and the office was very helpful. The one regret was accepting plans for an adequate sized system after requesting to upsize for future since we already conserved and wanted to add for electric vehicle charging and other. Salesperson Sean still based on prior billing history and was more interested in getting reviews posted, so here it is. First year had a true up bill without increasing usage much. We added a small plug n play hot tub last month and the true up shot up $200 for the one month. Yes they are... read full review
