SK prepared our taxes for several years. I just got a bill from the State of CA for $750 in taxes owed from 2019!! Seems their CPAs (or the flunkies who actually do the work) missed that interest on Muni bonds issued by agencies in states other than the one in which you live in are taxable. That's accounting 101. You'd think SK's fees would protect you from rookie mistakes. Guess not. I'm now using TurboTax and suggest you do too.

Steady fee increases each year you are a client with them. As high as 100% in one year. Common sense alone would tell you that's too much.
