My little 8lb maltese mix would not eat and was super lethargic, she is usually a ball of energy - can go on 4-5 miles hikes- but she is a very picky eater and is sensitive to new foods - and we have to watch her closely on walks or hikes because she will try to eat garbage. Upon calling they fit us in right away and treated her with an IV and found that she had eaten some tissue paper. They told us they didn't think she needed an x-ray to see if there was more tissue but would do so if she did not improve. It took her two more days to fully recover and they called us twice to check in. They could have charged us for an xray and we would have approved as we were so worried...read full review
