“In the interests of full disclosure, I'm not a big fan of YELP, this is my first review, but if it helps someone to finally get the remodel they've been dreaming about, I'll be happly. My wife and I were just commenting that it has been a year since we started our kitchen and bath remodel. We had talked about it for years, but never quite got around to actually doing anything about. We "interviewed" several contractors before finally going with Ross. It was a great decision. Our remodel came in on time, on budget and we love it. If you are putting off a remodel because of the aggravation, hassle or if you are like me the intimidation of choosing from bath fixtures that cost more than my first car, this is the place to go.“

“I am a pastor who often teaches believers to put off the old self and put on the new self (Ephesians 4:22-24), and to live in moderation and order. However, my own office is often dirty and messy, which makes me feel very embarrassed and somewhat "Pharisaic". I have always wanted to tidy up my office, but because I am busy with other things, I have never been able to spare the time to tidy it up. It was also because, perhaps even more so, that I didn’t know how to start organizing, until one day, Christine the Organizer appeared. With her keen professional vision, she provided me with organizational suggestions to transform my office into a more edifying place for believers. I knew this was an “angel” sent from God to give me the desires of my heart (Psalm 37:4). Under her resolute and orderly guidance, many church members were willing to come and help their pastor, and the office soon became fresh and bright. From now on, church members will feel welcome and happy when they walk in.<br><br>I learned a lot from her organizing process and would like to share the following points with you:<br><br>First, Christine asked me humbly if I was willing to accept change. When I said yes, she was very happy and expressed her hope that I had not been offended. It made me realize that getting someone to change requires humility, respect, and consideration that some people may view change as offensive. From her, I learned the virtue of putting customers first and respecting others.<br>Secondly, Christine saw some things that were very heavy that she and I could not move. At the same time, she noticed several strong and powerful teenagers playing basketball or engaging in other recreational activities, and asked them if they could Later they came to help, and they were more than happy to do so, and later others joined in to help. It was a pleasure working together as Christine explained the goals and plans clearly to us. If we identify a common goal and have a practical plan, we can work together to get the job done. I really hope that the ministries in the church can be like this organization work, which can bring everyone together so that everyone can participate willingly, perfect each other, perform their duties, and build up the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:12).<br>In addition, Christine noticed that there are many books that should not be in my office but should be in the library or other places because they may be good resources for others. She then came up with a very creative idea to optimize these resources: she suggested donating the proceeds from book sales to missionary work. I sent a letter to appeal to the church members to participate. After learning about it, everyone was happy to do it. In the following weeks, they enthusiastically bought books to support the missionary work. If we always consider things comprehensively and manage things flexibly in this way, we can be good stewards of God’s various gifts (1 Peter 4:10).<br>Co-workers work together seriously and care about each other like good stewards, which can inspire love and encourage each other. I work with teenagers and I feel so much younger all of a sudden ? ! Christine, these teenagers, and other co-workers inspired me and made me so motivated that even after everyone else had gone home, I stayed and was willing to continue the good work I had started. When Christine found out that I was still here, she came back again to help, speeding up the completion of the entire work.<br>Looking back on the few hours of work that Christine organized and arranged, it also brought some interesting thoughts to my own work of pastoring the church. Christine asked everyone to move all the clutter out of my office and tidy it up instead of just sorting out what they saw. This gave me a very important inspiration. We should put off the old man and put on the new man, rather than superficially repair the old man or just clean it up. We are full of sin and devoid of goodness. “We worked with Zeus Remodeling for a project that amounted to a whole-house remodel (with landscaping) and were very satisfied with both the process and the end product. At the start of the project we set out to find a 'one stop shop' in that we were focused specifically on Design-Build firms who would help plan a vision and then execute to it. While my partner and I have strong aesthetic opinions neither of us are particularly creative and we were seeking a firm that could come in and present us with options that we could iterate on. Thankfully this turned out to be a strong match to Paul's artistic sensibilities. We interviewed several other firms through this process but none of them inspired the level of confidence or empathy in terms of what we were looking for. I should also call out Paul's skills in sketching as a tremendous tool in pre-visualizing options as we were discussing layouts or alternative designsAn adjustment going into the process that led to a better outcome was recognizing that the project would evolve along the way. That can feel a little daunting going into a project of this magnitude but being prepared to adjust designs as new options presented themselves and being opportunistic worked out very well for us with the final result. While I suspect that some firms come with an attitude of 'give the client what they want but no more' in preservation of their margins I felt that Paul was constantly providing useful ideas and feedback - he was easily as invested in the project as we were and we benefited significantly in terms of the end result. Designs are nothing without execution however and I'm pleased to say that both Paul's subcontractors and the various vendors that he leveraged are true craftsmen. Clean lines throughout. Well fitted fixtures. As a tech/AV nerd who insisted on incorporating Cat8 wiring to every room and Dolby 7.1 Atmos Sound systems into several rooms I was encouraged that Paul's team were able to accommodate all the wiring requirements to specs that I provided. His team were even able to customize framing to accommodate built in wall speakers and other unreasonable requests. It's tempting to offer advice to others here because obviously we learned so much through the process. The one counterintuitive thing I will share, which Paul obviously knew but we learned by experience is that it's necessary to take your time getting to done. Moving back into the house post-remodel there are necessary adjustments to the work that only become apparent once you start to live there. Paul's team was very responsive in the months following the bulk of the project as needs arose and we felt supported working through the remaining small issues that came up.Would recommend to anyone seeking to take on a project like this, you'll be in good hands.“

“Sometimes large projects get the fanfare and critique. Mine was about as small a project as one could imagine dealing only with permits with the city of Oakland. Still I believe one can extrapolate or mine information from my experience. Kaplan Architects called and spoke to me for 45 minutes, not even charging me. First, they listed very well to me. Then they walked through the process educating me all along the way. Next, Kaplan, outlined possible choices including pros, cons and what to watch for. I felt this sincere attention to my tiny project was profound and extraordinary. “Friends, we just wrapped up a 6 month project with AAA. The pictures are what really does this work justice, but I can say that AAA far exceeded expectations. We did a kitchen/living room remodel which included removing two walls and adding a 16' new sliding door and a new deck. Toward the end of the project we expanded scope to include a new roof and new siding and exterior painting. They seamlessly provided this extra work. We lived in the house during the construction and worked from home while the crew transformed our home. Andrey got us going and Art and Alex were our main contacts during the project. I enjoyed working with Alex. He has the best "no problem" approach and when we hit a design issue with our deck, he had a great idea of how to rework the stairs and we went with that approach.
