If I could give 0 stars I would.We contracted with Dan for a nearly $250K full-home remodel in May 2022. The end date in our contract was Aug. 2022. The work is still not completed and the house remains uninhabitable. We chose Dan partly because he is local and wasn't put off by the permitting process. He told us he took on only 3 projects at a time and assigned each it's own 4 person crew. This was a lie. Four guys came in and demoed everything in a few days, then left the house sitting vacant with holes in the exterior walls for months. Several of the guys he did employ have up and quit. Dan has been on-site fewer than 10 times in the 7 months this remodel has dragged on. He ignores calls, voice mails and texts. His idea of quality control is asking the sub to text him a picture of what they did. The subs receive little to no instruction from Dan, so we have had to provide the on-site project management.I will say that the subs Dan uses are nice guys who do good work. But having to go through Dan to work with them isn't worth it.We have asked repeatedly for a project timeline and completion date. The last time was on 12/1, when he made a rare appearance at the project site and swore up and down that he'd send a punch list and schedule for a completion date of 12/23. He has sent nothing. Meanwhile, work at the house remains at a trickle. We have prepared a formal complaint to the licensing board. Not sure what else we can do, other than implore you not to make the same mistake we did.

We have a 100K+ contract and Dan Hardey won't call us back. Zero project management. We started May 2022. August 19 was completion date and it is October 24 (3 months late). His mailbox is strategically full so you can't leave a voicemail.Says he has four crews across multiple projects with one dedicated to us. It is a lie. One person working at a time. Lies about inspection rules to your face only to do the right thing when pressed. Not sure remedy here. No delays on our end save for one 2 week change order in June. Sure wish he would get this job done.

Unreliable and unprofessional. Will text you and then disappear. Ask to send references and then never replies. The one star reviews are true. The guy talks a big game but does not follow up. Pass on this company. I love how you finally respond only after this negative post. So you are alive?
