Needed a A/C repair and my regular, contracted service was not available for over a week. I wanted repair now. Checked reviews and called South Bay. Fortunately they just had a customer move out an A/C install and Don could come right out. After a thorough exam he diagnosed the problem (clogged condensate line) and repaired it on the spot. After clearing the problem he gave the system a complete checkup. Don Perez of South Bay Heating & Cooling is our new HVAC tesam. Great job.

My 94 yr old dad's AC unit stopped blowing cold air, so we checked with our original guy from 6 years ago who installed it, who told us we'd have to replace the whole thing at a cost of $4k. (My dad was in total shock about that, so I told the guy we will get a 2nd opinion.) - Thankfully, after doing some research, I found South Bay Heating and Cooling here on Yelp, and the company's owner Dan came by the same day I called him to give us an estimate. He told us he could actually repair the unit (no need to replace it) by installing a new capacitor and provide additional fixes to a leaked coolant chamber, recharging the capacitor, etc., and was able to finish the job the...read full review

Dan came and repaired our a/c unit promptly and efficiently and professionally! He replaced a part and checked everything before he left to be sure the unit was working properly.
